  4. im not sure really, i re-bled it several times, and it pulled several times then when i pulled the lever again the pads didnt work, i have cleaned it all out etc and im going to try it again, it may have been the piston sticking in the lever, and i have got my maggy lever on there at the moment but it feels shot compared to it
  5. hi there, i had water in my rb until recently went it started getting cold but when i flushed the system out nad replaced it with mineral oil the brake went really wierd, in the sense it worked for a few pulls of the lever then it didnt work at all. i have checked all the seals and they are perfectly fine took it to pieces and cleaned it all and it is fine. anyone got any ideas? cheers ian

  9. im not sure, if he can or not to be honest, ill speak to stef as he is a guy i know etc. but some of the stickers that were on his frame looked a bit tacky etc.
  10. the best bike in the world for me would have to be an 06 python, with all echo and zoobits in silver now that would be sweet, wait a sec... ive actually got that ian
  11. the internals carrode, simple as. and brakes that are hydrolic are designed to be used with hydrolic fluid in the case of a magura it is mineral oil or magura blood as they call it, and im not going to disagree water feel alot nocer at the lever

  13. why do i smell jealousy(sp) and the end of the day he is only another guy and he aint stuck up at all like some guys i know of.
  14. what are maguras designed to be bled with? ermm the words mineral oil comes to mind, water will start to rot the rubber seals and has anyone seen what anti freeze does to the paint on a car? go pour some on a car and see what happens and im sure you wont want that in your brake either. just stop being pikey and use oil, i will have to confess though that in the summer i will be using water again but ill be changing my maggy to a new one in summer so will put it in one i have now. ian
  15. why do i get the felaing that this is more than likely another Deng company? correct me if im wrong
  16. --> QUOTE(danny B @ Jan 29 2006, 06:31 PM) ←firstly, thanks for all your opinions, good or bad. i will take them all on as a professional for now because after all i ride for a factory direct as there top rider and have my own frame and the title of british mountain bike champion thus making pretty much a pro as is ben savage elite british champion and riding for a factory i.e another pro. Basically if you don't want one of the lessons don't buy one it was originally the idea of ben slinger to make some money because there ain't none in trials unless you are the martins as you would know that gav who would never think of making a video that teaches trials and believe or not YOU HAD TO PAY FOR IT! And believe me i think they may have sold more than 60 quids worth and i bet that was all for the love of the sport yeh right ps. you lot are believe it or not a little pathetic in the ways that if all you can do is spend your time on this forum slagging me off and complainin or sifting through ebay you need to go out and ride a bit because maybe you could actually one day maybe if your lucky and i have a really bad day, and have two punchers and me leg falls off you might beat me. ohhhh and that was a really big headed statement because after all you call me big headed so i may as well say it !!!!! so after my little rant i would just like to say hi to all the kids that i taught down in essex which is 200 miles away from my home for free at my own expense to assist "Biketrial" and the future down in the south that none of this involves you and that the people of this forum should go out and ride a bit more just like we were doing and having a good laugh because thats what the sports the about the riding not the bitching i rode with danny at the event he mentioned in essex and i payed for like 3 hours and my god, it was the best 3 hours riding. having someone there who i have looked up to for a while and thinking i could be like him standing there next to me showing me how to ride is amazing. again let him just do what he wants, why do people on here slag people of for riding there bikes and making a bit of cash here and there? cheers ian, p/s danny i was the one on the python and thanks again.
  17. ive got echo team stem and zoo bars tilted as far forward as they can go bill on my python and it is lovely, ben yourbike is wierd but it a good way
  18. ben i may just get an armoudillo for my python, if you want ill get you one at same time, it will need a bit of cutting but it will be worth it in the long run
  19. i only have a magura on the back as i have a disc on the front, im using a koxx block on the left side and a plazmatic on the right side,
  20. 1 koxx block brown, 1 plazmatic crm on a nice harsh grind. its a very reliable brake hasnt slipped once and i can trust it in all weathers
  21. hi there, i have ridden all of the echo, GU and zoo frames and from what i have ridden the long zoo (which i have) and the the long Gu typhoon ride the nicest, they all seem to be very strong this is probally due to them being made out of U6 aluminium. The zona zip on the other hand is really nothing like the python, it is alot heavy and i doubt it is stronger because U6 aluminium seems to be the strongest matrerial to make a trials bike from, how many frames form Deng have snapped? ian
  22. i read somewhere that it was a front one on the rear with old spokes, i believe it was in the thread where that pic was first posted, maybe you arent smooth then or something like you are running your tyres a little to flat to have done that to your rim
  23. i act on behalf of where i work and we deal with echo and zoo products, contact me somehow and ill infor m you who to contact if it is ok with them and you arent doing this so you can get yourself some new parts are you?
  24. did you build your wheel your self? or did an experienced wheel builder build it? because at the end of the day its is mainly down to the build. and the pictures above aparently the rim was a front one using well old spokes, so no wonder it went like that
