  1. cheers for the advice bigman, what cable are you running by the way? i think it may be a case of the cable that can make all the difference because it is going to be a fair bit longer than what the front one would be, plus i would only use a 160 on the rear as i sidehop that way!
  2. bb7 as adjustment on the pad in and out both sides, please dont post useless information in thread as need to get a few relevent decisions made quickly.

    Go Karting

its all about the opposite lock, last time i went go karting it had been rainning all day and it was a pure test of who had the biggest balls combined with driver skill, if it is dry dont get it sideways no matter how good it looks you wil lgo fast when going in straight lines, and makes sure you hit the apex of the corner they help to bring the kart round the corner plus you get some sparks if you get it right i no its not good for the kart but i find braking and accellerating when used simultaniously will get you through the corner quicker (if that makes sense) but most of all just have a laugh, i pulled the perfect 720 last time in the rain when going through a slight curve in the rain.
  4. hi there, i have a bit of a dilema on my hands, i have owned and used avid bb7's in the past on the fornt but due to soon be aquiring a 221pr of a friend of mine im going to put disc brakes on it front and rear. here is the problem. ive seen these new moto brakes and used them on a friends 221ti, but the avid i used to have seemed to just be more powerful for some reason, so im thinking, is the bb7 on the rear going to be just as powerful or not? has anyone used a bb7 on the rear of any trials bike and could they give me a comparision to another rear disc they have tried. and if so with the avids could people reccomend me levers that are good have a nice feal and shape but not stupidly expensive like the avid ultimates. thanks for your help, ian

  10. sorry! only making a valid question aobut why you werent wearing a lid thats all plus its for your own safety.
  11. the bars are tipped forwards a bit so there is no sweep backwards.
  12. get the echos mate, aslong as you fit it altogether properly i.e putitng freehweel on correctly and not cross threadin it then they will be alright. the echos are lighter stiffer nad in general much better quality than the onza ones
  13. tis a very nice bike you have there matt, i need to have a little play on this to see if i defo want the same rear brake as that, (and you owe a thanks to moi aswell for building it for you )
  14. you no what they say about joe. think it is starting to all be revealed. kwl pictures aswell though,
  15. good choice go for a 203 or a 185 but 203 is better
  16. have you used a BB7? i have used both and if you are serious about front wheel moves than the avid bb7 is much better and that is much better value for money than the hope, as it is cable it is alot easyer to maintain, and is a piece fo cake to set-up no fiddling around with washer to get it perfectly inline,
  17. your mate danny defo needs to get himself a new chain as that looks rather rusty. other than that some nice piccys.
  18. well my racing bike stays at the shop where i work as covered on insurance there and my tials bike when i get it will be left in garage, way i see it is if it is stolen it is insured when in the garage or house

    Car Audio Help

best bit of advice i was given by someone was to spend as much money on a headunit as you can. and then go from there, im looking into getting a full JBL audio set-up in my car, but you have to have a half decent headunit if you want crystal clear music that hits the highs and the lows. it also depends if you have an ear for music.
  20. thats the best thing you can buy, atleast you get to see your money that you spent on her being used, well it works for me at crimbo.
