  1. Nah, pics in sigs suck, it's been discussed loads of times. People with 100 MSN quotes in their sig are just tools really, if anything these should be made smaller. There is a character limit for signatures, but it doesn't really work. For example my signature is only just small enough to fit. Another couple of characters and it's "too long". Which is stupid compared to people who have like 12 lines of "funny" crap in their signatures.
  2. But if the holes are dead centre, it doesn't matter which ones you use?

    Wtf?!

Well then go somewhere else to buy your booster... If it bothers you that much that they don't answer emails, buy from a company who are better in that respect. But if you just give them a call everyone is happy - it'll only be like 30p or something anyway :P
  4. Posted before but a really sweet video :P
  5. I am beginning to think it might not be a bad idea to rest things like that and not ride with broken bits. I've dislocated my shoulder 5 times in as many weeks because I ride again as soon as it feels ok...

    Cars Colour

How is that gonna stop it looking tacky?

    Condoms

    That is NOT nice (Y)
  8. It's lovely and sunny now - If anyone was thinking of going down, do. I'm leaving now
  9. I've just been looking at the weather forecast on the news (TV), and it would seem that we're in the top end of the rain, and it's gonna be moving south. If the TV is right (And I would guess it usually is), it's gonna be dry and clear from midday ish at least
  10. They do work with 2 pawls just about, if you NEED to ride. Not that I am recommending this though... Although Shimano only have one pawl, so a broken Hope is better than that at least.
  11. What are they like compared to Ruffians? I like the Ruffians, but when it's hot (and sweaty) or raining, I lose all grip. I don't really like foam grips either.
  12. I reckon it'll get to a point where we need different frames for different things, if you really have to go big. For example, Tunni did some huge gaps on a ?1090 Pitbull, but wanted a ?1060 to improve his bunny hops or something. Whilst I think it's important to improve frame designs and for people to push the boundaries, I also think the majority of people could have more fun on a shorter bike
  13. I know what you mean. Whenever I ride, I try new things rather than improve other things, generally. There is far more to trials than sidehop/gap though, especially when you try and style it up. There's plenty of moves I can't do (Still stuck on 180 ups), I'll be entertained for a few years to come I reckon. And then there's doing them the "wrong" way, then switch footed etc. And after that maybe I'll have to invent some new stuff.
  14. There's no specific law about it at the moment. Although I think it would be against the law if you asked your neighbour not to use your internet and he still did. Kinda like having a big field and no gates or something. People can wander through and frolick in the fields. But then if you put up a "No Trespassing" sign, it'd be illegal. The chance of anyone getting into trouble = very slim though, unless they were doing something really bad. Bear in mind that you can wander over to various hotspots and get it for free anyway. In fact I have heard of people with their own wireless setup connecting to nextdoor's by mistake. Their connection dropped and their computer picked up nextdoor's connection and started using it without saying a word, the user didn't even know. IMHO, if someone's stupid enough to leave their internet open to outsiders, they should expect some people to use it.
  15. I wonder how much other factors make a difference, for example the flexy Echo rear ends for "more bounce" etc. Or frame material - U6/"normal" alu/Steel/Ti etc. Hard to know, but I bet the secret to an amzing frame isn't simply amazing geometry.
  16. Yeah, I wouldn't double declutch out of habit. I'm someone who drives cars, not a "driver"
  17. Yeah, but I didn't see anything that big!
  18. You ain't doing it right if all you're trying to do is improve your sidehop/tap/gap an inch at a time :D I do admit BMX looks fun, but I get scared of anything faster than trials
  19. No it also does it after I've been moving forwards (ie in first or whatever) then stopped and reversed, not just when I start off...
  20. I want to see this 55" backwheel with no tap... And you broke a Control?
  21. The problem is that there are enough people wanting their parents/grandparents to die so they can get inheritance anyway, without them being able to kill the relatives that stand in the way of them. I know you say it would be the person's choice, but old people sometimes put waaaay too much trust in their children/friends. Like this old lady who I know who was going to give power of attorney to her daughter's husband or something when there was no need at all. Turns out he suggested it and you gotta wonder what his motives are...
  22. No, it's not that. It makes a REALLY bad crunch if you try and put it in reverse while going forward. But this is while sitting in the drive, even before I've moved anywhere. So I don't see how it would help to double de clutch, because the transmission hasn't started moving anyway... I'll try it anywho.
  23. You need to: Go into the router setup ( www.routerlogin.net I think  ) Click on Advanced Wireless Setup in the firewall main menu Under Wireless card access list, click Setup Access List Tick Turn Access Control On Select a card, then click Add When you've done all the cards you want to do, click Apply
