Haha, oh well. I'll just grow old and get fat then :) But I think you are right about the shoulders and golf, I've had a few problems before with it... Maybe the shoulder doctor can help (Y)

B-B-B-But the summer hasn't even started yet (Y)

The driving range is cool, I've been a few times. It's great fun. Never played a full game though, but I would guess that would also be fun. Maybe I'll take it up when all my joints give up from trials abuse (Y)

It won't be. I've been in three "photoshoots" that "are going to be in the paper". It's just some freelance photographer that has a bit of time on his hands and takes some pics for the hell of it. Although maybe if I was good/pretty enough some of the pics might have made it into the paper :'( Fair play if they do get an article though

Um no. Read the thread. The article was just a random rant about cycling. Nothing to do with trials apart from that one picture. The latest summer craze is just "cycling" by the looks of it :'(
-
Damn, why didn't I get mine in white? :'( That looks awsome. So go on then, what are the vital statistics?

Yeah, but the article is all about a little bike shop near me. It's basically an advert for The Bicycle Doctor™ shop, which is a tiny boring shop way away from the city centre. Oh well :'( Incidentally, they sell keyrings that say "BikeDoc" on them. Wonder if BikeDock have something to say about that

It won't. EDIT: Well not if you plan on riding it or looking at it, anyway.

I ride on the pavement, otherwise I'd probably end up falling into traffic when I f**k up a manual or crankflip or something. I reckon you'd have to do pretty well to get a fine for being on the pavement. 99% of the time, if you're not an arsehole to the police, they will leave you be. The other 1% is the moody b*****d who just found out he's got cancer and has to have his balls cut off.

Right, so we have a newspaper here in dirty Manchester called the Metro. It's pretty popular, everyone in Manchester (I think) gets a free copy. Anyway, I never really look at it, but this caught my eye on the front page: So, I turned to where it was and I got this: No mention whatsoever of the word "trials" or anything that cool at all. God knows why they put that picture into one of those public service articles about how people should get out on their bikes. But meh, at least it's a picture in the newspaper. It's down by the Urbis centre in Manchester, near Victoria Station. Anyone know who it is? Looks like a Monty Urban.

25GB monthly bandwidth? Or for the year?

Well thank you. I thought I could have at least caught a few TF noobs before you spoilt the fun :'(

Right, I want to make a website I think. Never done it before and I know next to nothing about them, and I don't want to know. There's no way I'm gonna learn HTML (or any other language for that matter) just to make this one website (and I'm not even sure what it's going to have on it...), so it needs to be simplificated :P Anyway, to make the actual site, I need some program of some sort (don't just say notepad)? I want it to be easy to use for someone like me with very little knowledge, but I also want to be able to make a nice looking site. Any suggestions? So that's that bit. Then I have to make the site, and upload it. I have FTP, I presume that's what I need? And some webspace. For that I would need to buy hosting, right? I don't mind spending a bit of money, but not very much. Is there anything else I need to know about this? And then the site name. How would I buy a domain name? I think that's about it, yeah? Anything I've missed? Tar :'(

Can't you just stick a bolt on the other side of the mount? Or buy a helicoil kit fir like £7 or whatever they are. I'm sure it'd cost less than £20 to get it 'coiled. As for the frame itself, £30 is very cheap. Just check for cracks before you buy and it should last you a couple of months at least.

:P That is amazing! Nice one :'(
-
You think that's bad?

You know that game on Radio1 (for the people that listen) where they play a load of people answering a question, and you have to guess the question? Well, I was reading this topic at work, and it just said "Who was the last person that..." bit and didn't show the "you gave your number to" (Lo-fi mode). It's kinda ruined it now I know it actually makes sense :'(
-
That's all good, but remember that some of those reviews are two years old now and a lot has changed since then. A lot of people would want a much longer bike than that now. And they are pretty snap happy. That said, they would probably be pretty nice for a not-too-long, not-too-short frame for general riding. If you can get a good deal on one in fairly good condition, go for it!

I'm sure in trials that you'll dent the sidewalls and buckle the rim rendering it useless far before that happens. You occasionally hear of that happening to XC riders who wear through the rim with their brakes, but that would be on a VERY old rim and probably in some very gritty (abrasive) conditions. The thing is when you grind a rim, you don't really remove much of the sidewall material. You just kinda move it about a bit. Hence rims can take lots of grinds :'(
