Actually... I don't really know what the SocketA semprons are like, but the Sempron 3100+ are really good for overclocking. And it's just kinda like getting something for nothing - however fast your processor, you can always make it that bit faster. But you would, still, be better off with a similarly priced AthlonXP and overclocking that I think. And you should use a program called Prime95 to test if your overclock is actually stable.

It sounds like a problem with the router. It has a thing build in (DHCP) that dishes out IP addresses to all the PCs on the network. It sounds like that's not working properly. Check the router settings (you'll need to type 192.168.0.1 into the browser, probably) for DHCP. Otherwise, assign an IP to each computer from Control Panel|Network|Properties|TCP/IP properties. The IPs have to have the first 3 "bits" as all the other computers and the router. The other bit has to be different. E.g. router: 192.168.0.1 PC 1: 192.168.0.2 etc (any number between 1 and 254)

Yeah, that's fine. I think the Mac comes with an adapter for VGA monitors (like that one). Best check though, or you might have to buy the adapter (should be dirt cheap). You need a Wireless access point (WAP) or a wireless router. And something for the mac - I think Apple calls it airport or something gay? :S
