I'm sure you don't. The cheap thermal stuff that comes with PCs can get a bit burnt and not as effective. And now you've taken it off, you should really replace the thermal compound. Arctic Silver 5 will do the job. The temperature has really nothing to do with the speed of your computer.
  2. Sorry Dave :P Well done. And you're definitely right about the rider-influenced design. But that doesn't always work when the riders aren't perhaps as clued up as you two. Anyway, looks good :D You didn't mention how it performs on wheelswaps. What's the verdict there?
  3. It kinda takes the piss that adam can create a sweet frame just by altering one aspect of the bike's geometry. I mean if it's that easy that it only takes one person who actually rides trials properly AND has an idea of engineering etc, why is this only happening now? We need this stuff to be happening more often.
  4. Don't be a dick. I don't how how what you're doing is any different from some tool coming on here and calling everyone "gay" or something.
  5. I just meant that it'll probably feel longer than something like a Zebdi, which has a similar wheelbase, but longer stays.

That's not too much of a problem. Graphics cards have a much greater max die temperature than CPUs, so can probably go up to about 110*C ish without damage (Whereas with a CPU, it's about 85*C). So don't worry too much - you'll probably only knock a couple of degrees off anyway :D
  7. You're making shit up. I never said that... :D However, I would still like to know if it's a standard T-Rex (apart from the BB height), or if there are other differences. Also, what's the deal with this frame. I mean who gets the money for any that are sold? :D

    Effortless

I didn't ride for around a month, because of exams and stuff, and I went out riding as soon as I finished. The first decent-sized wall I tried to backwheel, I absolutely breezed up. No idea how. 4 weeks ago, I probably wouldn't have made it, and I did it first time. Having said that, it wasn't a massively high wall (My ups are shit). I'd say a smidge under 3'. However, not bad for me :D
  9. That isn't really THAT short, considering it has chainstays which are shorter than a lot of 26" bikes.
  10. Yeah, but I also "heard" that BT were introducing ACTUAL limits in around february time. So we might be in for a surprise then. Having said that, 30Gb is a lot of downloading.
  11. I'd be VERY surprised if Norton helped speed up your computer at all. In fact I'd put money on the fact that it would slow it down. Download Adaware and Spybot S&D. Update them and then run them. Delete anything they find. Should help a fair bit if you've never used it before.

    Bank Accounts

My card still says switch :D
  13. Yeah, it's a totally fair point. I mean we all know that that's not really gonna happen here, but if I didn't know better, that's what it would seem like.
  14. Crikey, a set of pads getting a bad review. These must be really rubbish... :ermm:
  15. What bikes? And what were you doing in Manc last night?

    Random Thing

Maybe he likes his "MySearch" bar :P Yup. If you read the site, it says how it was done. It's something like a 10MP camera, on a machine that makes it take a pic, and then move a few degrees. So the car moved while the camera was repositioning itself. There's some batty stuff if you look hard enough, like cars that merge into each other.

    The Flu

Stay warm. Sweat it out. That's what my mummy always told me. Not sure how good that advice is though :ermm:

Probably, yeah. I have it on both :ermm: It'll knock 1-2*C off your temps. So not much, but still better than a kick in the teeth. It's not exactly expensive.
  19. It's not a driver issue if it's not in windows. To rule out a power supply problem, unplug the power supply to the CD-ROM drive(s), and additional hard disks, take all the ram out but one stick, and take out any PCI cards you don't need. If it works fine with that all that out, then it's a PSU problem. But usually that's not what happens when you don't have enough power.
  20. Right... I'm assuming you HAVE swapped the vga cable to the monitor over? What card is it? Does it need a separate power supply to it, and is that plugged in? Or your card could be borked. Or you've got some stupid settings in the bios about PCI/AGP frequency, but I doubt it.
  21. On your phone, type *#06# and it'll come up with the IMEI number. It's a number unique to your phone. The other one I don't know.
