Just got home after a great ride in Portsmouth for the DJ Memorial Ride. Unfortunately it rained the afternoon, so I think about 15 of us went for a tunnel session. Was some silly lines going on.

Received my order from CRC, 2 of 3 items in the box. Phone them up, apparently it's not often that happens and it's just one of things. So I have no seatpost for the 24 for this weekend.

Truvativ cranks fitted, clearance is tight, having to run 2 spacers on the drive side bb. Eno on rear hub, chain fitted, chain line out enough that when driving the cranks, the chain comes off the chainring away from the bike.

Anyone local got a new Odyssey Linear slic brake cable? Or anyone able to get one from Pijin Southampton for me, and I'll collect Friday evening?

Amazing Tunnel ride today, broke my sidehop PB, it's now 53" :-D Though it was on Paul Turner's bike as mine was broke :-( some great riding all.

Why does 80% of the drivers today drive around with their fogs on day or night when it's not foggy. They are not DRL's and they all look stupid.

Today I've learnt that muddy comps can actually be pretty good, however arm pump is never good. Was great to see so many people at Hook Woods today. Surprised to see Roberta had let Daniel Lawrence out on a Sunday.
