  1. Ummmmm ok, this is as bad as some of those auto corrects you see. I don't see how this is possible, I don't even know where that picture is on my profile.

  2. So........This is me for the night. The things I do to please my wife.

  3. My room for the night, I'd say its on par with Travelodge, actually probably beats it just for having more plug sockets and room service :-)

  4. Thanks Dave. I've had 53" but not consistently, I'm probably getting 51" so only just a bit higher. Not sure if that means my technique from two wheels is better than from rear, or it's just odd, haha.
  5. Thanks Dave, I did find it hard to capture moves and lines that looked neither tiny or silly large. I do need to get some filming done outside I reckon.
  6. I liked this. Definitely something going up north. Some great varied riders up there, Danny Holroyd, Chris Akrigg and now Joe Prattley.
  7. As the title say's I'm quite proud of this, I know it's just a sidehop, it's not creative or anything like that. I find it rare to see people go from two wheels these days, so I thought I'd share. For those on Facebook - https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10151795556371112&set=vb.167388400082716&type=3&theater Youtube -
  8. Thought I saw this last night, turns out Jules Roberts was wrong and it was only Mortal Kombat.

  9. Thanks. I feel like I do tuck, but lots of people say I barely do. I'm not sure why I don't tuck much.
  10. Laughing at how bad the Mortal Kombat fight song is hahahaha

  11. Here's my latest video. I have to say I don't think it's my best video, i've been keen to get something out from The Tunnel for a while now, but been busy with work and demos. So here it is -
  12. If your doing miles then tdi is definitely the way to go. You can in all fairness have as much fun as you can in a petrol, just got to get the right mods. Here's my car, Mitsubishi Lancer running a VW 2.0 PD140 BWC engine and VW Garrett turbo. She's currently sitting at 181bhp / 313lbft
  13. So another video of Barrow Farm by Joe Maher. Well this one was good. I find it hard to see how well someone is riding or improving and progressing when they release a video every other month. It was nice to see a lot of thought went into this video, not just the riding but also the editing too.
  14. oops forgot to put that. The height is 53" (134cm) It's doubtful, I think if I get my Limey lighter then that'll be good enough.
  15. Set a new PB for me on my sidehops on Sunday at Barrow Farm, it was 53" (134cm) https://www.facebook.com/photo.php?v=10152956170385274&set=vb.566040273&type=2&theater Also managed to accidentally style out a failed side hop - IMG_2987.MOV The bike ridden is Joe Maher's old Rockman Radix.
  16. Finally bought my weekend ticket. Looking forward to a great weekend of riding, lets just ensure I pace myself so I can all weekend and not go flat out on the friday and Saturday
  17. I'm still undecided, but will probably be there for the Friday and Sunday.
  18. Jack have you got a response to this, as I am interest to know this too before I buy a ticket.
  19. I used Plasti dip black on my car earlier this year. I wanted to paint a chrome coloured grill trim black, this from research seemed to be the best way. Reason being as you question Family Biker, it does leave a rubber coating, with the idea that if you just spray it on to bare material with no primer you can then peel the coating off if you change your mind. It didn't work for me unfortunately, may have been the original coating on the trim, or the temperature outside when I was spraying. But when it works it does look really.
  20. The bike looks pretty nice, but after my experience with just a carbon top tube in my Echo Pure much like Stan shaw's Echo. I found that one carbon tube stiffened the bike uo enough, that you lost spring in the frame when compressing for sidehops and gaps. This may well ride differently as it's a full carbon frame, but my view is that it would be a very stiff bike with little to no flex in the frame, therefore requiring the rider to put more effort in to lift the bike more. Nothing wrong with that if you a top comp rider or someone equally as fit. But if someone was to go out and buy one and then find it too stiff that they can't ride at the same level as before, without putting lots more effort in, that could be pretty disappointing after forking out all that money. It would be interesting to hear from people that have ridden the M5 if it is as stiff as I imagine.
  21. Heading to Cardiff for some demos tomorrow, then possibly a cheeky ride in Bristol Sunday. Looking to be a good weekend with plenty of sun.
