  4. alright nick i'm nick manning. i live a 2min ride from b'mth high street, i personnaly find b'mth pretty gd, aswell poole. poole can be ridden day or night, but b'mth can only really be ridden at night. both towns are similar in the sense that they've got similar walls but they are both two very different places to ride. sandbanks is what we would call our natural spot as it offers a small amount of rocks to ride, our other decent spot for natural is the almighty portland bill. In the bournemouth and poole area in all there are about 11 riders.
  5. im still on the same pair of viz rims since about june, and ive seen plenty of people go through other branded rims since to now, i agree on the koxx rims, they do seem to dent quite easily. havent tried any rims, but too be fair the best rims about have to mavic EX721 but there just not wide enough for modern trials frames.
  6. do bristol saturday, and somewhere south sunday, im prob riding poole sunday, hopefully be building my new bike sunday morning :(
  7. i may be there with a couple riders from bmth and poole, but we'll be in for about 10am

  16. im upfor this, ive wanted to ride plymouth for so long now. i can come down for the day and go home in the evening, but i would like to go on the tuesday ride aswell, and as im riding bristol on wednesday, would it be possible for somone to put me up for monday and tuesday night, as this would make it a hell of a lot easier to go on the 3 rides. here's my contact details if anyone can help me out e-mail: bournemouth_trials@hotmail.com mobile: 07854503274 any help will be greatly appreciated, cheers.
  17. i reckon i may come along if its cool, see if i can some others out too
  18. it doesnt say about trials course just says about the public access course for bikes and boards, and ur right, if its indoors it wont have the same atmosphere as in shepton, it'll just feel like the bike show, plus it dont look like theres camping so it'll be crap. i reckon trals forumshould go to nass but find a campsite near that we can all stay in, then we can have our own nass campsite, lol :)
  19. ive just had a news letter from nass, and thought i should share it with everyone that didn't sign up for the news letter. the venue is now gonna be birmingham nec, here's their website http://www.nass2006.com/
  20. im up for bristol wednesday, hopefully im staying at paulys in tamworth for the week from tomorrow, so il bring him too.
  21. sounds like a great plan, might come, depends where i am, as its 3.5 hrs from bournemouth, but i may be i cheltenham or tamworth.
  22. i may make an apperance if i can get there, there's no trains between bournemouth and southampton this weekend :ermm:
  23. riding poole tomorrow afternoon, from bout 12. will be riding portlnad from about 12 aswell on sunday. hopefully see some riders out :P
  24. im running a viz hub and viz rim, light, but hubs awkward for building onto, cos the flanges are to completly different sizes. for the disc i got a magura marta sl this week and within an hour i was amazed at its performance, i also hate hope disc, ive had 2 mono trials and a mono mini all brand new and all were appauling, ive also had a hayes hfx 9, didnt do anything really. the marta isn't the cheapest (£184.99 trials shop) but i reckon its the best for modulation and bite and reliability.
  25. i think up for the challenge of riding the 20 miles each way, if i ride this to come to bristol, that means that the bath lot have to come cos to ride bath to bristol is no way as far as bournemouth to brockenhurst. so i best see you all there!
