The govt. is racist in a way. In the United States the only way you can get a scholarship for college is if you're black, mexican, arab, or if you're a insane genious etc. My neighbor who had hispanic descent, didn't look mexican at all and she was filthy rich, and stupid, she got a full ride scholarship. My four siblings none of them were able to get a scholarship over $1,000 a year and they all had straight A's for the most part and my family is just average I guess. I hate how people are like why are you acting white?/why are you acting black? I have a good friend who is black and he skates (very good too) he gets yelled at by alot of people(white and black) for not acting black enough because he wasn't gangsta, he didn't wear his pants to his ankles.

I didn't read erething in this thread but I think Bush did a terrible job after the hurricane hit. First off he stayed on holiday a few days after the hurricane hit, then went to some meeting, and finally he flew over New Orleans. The reason most of the people who are suffering the most are blacks are because most of them are poorer and do not own a car. How can you evacuate if you can't afford a car? Obviously their are buses but not enough to take over 250,000 people out of New Orleans to other parts of the country. I wouldn't call Bush's response racist but he doesn't seem to care too much for lower/middle class Americans. While he gives tax cuts to the rich the middle class really doesn't get anything.
