  1. Nearly time, only 1 maybe 2 more days to get those last minute entries in. Everything is going well at the quarry and the weather seems like it's going to pretty nice. If you haven't entered yet, DON'T WORRY, you still have time as stated above, remember BIU licenses are FREE and can be done on the day. Entry forms are available to download at selectbikes.com ACU licenses are only ONLY £10, and you can do the Hook woods trial towards the end of the year which is one of the best venues in the country, so that's only £5 a trial extra for your ACU license between 2 competitions if you want to. An ACU application can be filled out on the day. If you read up this topic there is a link to the form, simply print it out and bring it with you. There are also a lot of non competitors and spectators coming along so it should be great fun day of riding. The council guy in charge of making a HUGE (wants it to be the biggest and best trials park IN THE WORLD, which he really wants, which he has funding for) trials park will be there and will be chatting to riders, the more people that come along will show him theres a lot of interest in the sport, you will also get to voice your opinions of what you would like to see in the trials park. Phil.
  2. That's so funny, and made my day hahahaha, it's simply amazing. Why have they used some strange South African voice Gotta love the green webs too. I was pissing when he was pedaling and his feet where not on the pedals HAHA. Also the 100ft jumps into the air and the sly talking when he was riding, quality. Phil.
  3. What it her feet slip off the pedals, then she will hit her shin.
  4. Looks like Danny Butler, has the same legs It's defo a steel frame, looks like a Pashley too.
  5. biketrial-spain.com Top left. Well done to everybody, looks like everybody done well, good stuff. Phil.
  6. At a guess I'd say they where the only dates that where available for the venue at the time, there are also other commitments and whenever the club organizing it is available. It's probably best if you didn't say "purposley" as that's pretty stupid and narrow minded for you to say that. I don't know though, e-mail johnterry@ukbiketrial.co.uk
  7. Hahaha, blimey no need to go off on one. I left the snoozy emoticon there to show I was being sarcastic because other people where saying to move the Rochdale round hence the quote I left. Its quite funny how intent you are to state your case, haha. The dates have been made available on the ukbiketrial website for a long time and now, so the dates have been known, thats that. Atleast all I can say is at least we have attempted to change the date or sort something last Sunday at round 3, I'm not intending to start an argument although it looks like you are intent to do so with your reply. Rochdale mototrial club are the club running the Rochdale round, well that's what club it's getting run under, through various people. Personally I think that having the trial the weekend after the world round is fine, I don't see the problem myself, although that's just my personal opinion, I don't know though really so don't ask me your not really bothered are you, just just want to cause an argument. I only come on here to say that an attempt was made to change the date, but it was too late, just to let everybody know so they didn't keep asking, I'm not getting into a silly argument, the situation isn't good, but theres nothing that can be done.
  8. You should be able to do everything on the day Adam, you need to fill out a form for a BIU licence (which is free) but you need an ACU licence, which you can do on the day but you need a club to sign it off under, Anthony Rew might be able to sort that on the day. Would be best if you printed out the forms and brought them on the day, ACU form can be downloaded from: HERE It's simple to fill out, you only need to fill out section 2 section 6 (with 1 tick), then the rest after that. You should do the comp, the sections will be beasts and Lee quarry is a beast. Cheers guys, Wad, if you still need a flyer i'll make a smaller version that can fit on A4, Would be good if you could whack some up in the local shops. Thanks. Phil.
  9. Round 4 of the British Biketrial Championship - Sunday 12th August 2007. Lee Quarry, Bacup (OL13) A new and exciting venue with plenty to ride and the soon to be home of a huge funded trials course, XC and downhill run, show your support to the council to help it along the way. The sections will be quite confined so everybody will be able to ride and get together and have a fun day. If your not riding and coming to watch, Lee Quarry is a recently refurbished quarry, the land has been cleared up and is free from churned up mud from motorbikes/vehicles with man made paths and seating areas. Entry forms should be arriving very soon in the post with results from round 3 to all BIU licence holders, otherwise an entry form is available for download. An entry form and a map is available from HERE A press release/Online flyer for the event is below and will be distributed around surrounding areas, councils, newspapers, businesses and throughout the internet/e-mails. Thanks. Phil.
  10. Please move the tyketrial round. Either way Ive had a go at sorting something but unfortunately the dates have been looked at and it's too late to change the date for Rochdale, even though we have actually tried and come to the decision that it's not possible now without buggering everything up and causing a load of confusion, the date for the 12th August British champ round has been known for a long time. Anyway, this venue in Rochdale is new and should be an exciting trial I'd just love to do the Addingham round myself aswell. Phil.
  11. What if somebody said They where both made by the same hands
  12. Geax tyres used to come with green sidewalls, don't think they do anymore, but there might be old stock in shops. I'd advise running extra sidewalls with these tyres too as the sidewalls arn't too thick on most of them. Phil.
  13. SHITIN eck that's a big hop isn't it
  14. Sky news says M5 has reopened in both directions. :] If you look here: Traffic news You can see everything is nearly back to normal, so hopefully it should be ok if your leaving from up North going down the M5. Phil.
  15. I have edited all them all by the way so the colours are differnt. 15 months ago haha. I wanna go back too, next week.
  16. Unfortunately there needs to be a club up In the area that can run the trial, the competitions that are being held are run by clubs, that's why Essex round are doing 2 and The Kelly farm trial. and the Welsh trial was held by a welsh club. There is Tyketrial who used to do them in Yorkshire but they arn't this year, and lets not get into why, they just arn't, fair enough. Thats why I am running the Rochdale round under a motorbike ACU affiliated club, so there is a venue up North for us Northerners. The one in Rochdale this is by the way. Hopefully next year there will be a lot more, the rounds had to be decided pretty quickly too because of everything that has gone on, so it hasn't given anybody much chance to arrange anything up North, the round that was meant to be held in Matlock, I think was being run by YMSA, no idea if it's being held or not though. Phil.
  17. If I can get down there in the day probably around Exeter, but not sure what time im going down yet, let me know if your riding when your down guys. Phil.
  18. I'm going down tomorrow, might have a ride tomorrow if it's not raining. Phil.
  19. Cheers for the comments guys . The rocks in Burnley are different to that Andy, they are in the open with no trees. Phil.
  20. They need a club to run the round from the area. Anyway who cares about that, do you know if you can still ride there to practice or is Addingham out of bounds except for competitions? Shame it clashes Im sure people would want to do both, maybe have 10 secions at Addingham and 10 at Rochdale Phil.
  21. bingo. It's not like Aluminium, you don't need a replaceable dropout, it's solid enough to withstand a lot of hits, and easy to bend back without cracking or snapping off.
  22. QUOTE(danny B @ Jul 19 2007, 05:24 PM) <{POST_SNAPBACK}>well i am going should be good thids weekend.... I thought you gays where minibiking it? Good good though guys, should be good. Phil.
  23. Yep it is that rock, and I knew what you meant you spoon Ben haha . All good. Phil.
  24. O yeees it's sloped as you can see but it's still up to my shoulder
  25. Cheers bud. Urm.. kind of weird, it was a tap to roll up on the front face of the rock which helped me get it to backwheel, kept on backwheel anyway.
