I use the controltech skewer on the rear. I haven't had a problem at all with it, nice and light and tightens up just fine. Phil.

I think if you need a stronger rim it's worth the extra weight especially as you don't need to worry about it after extra gap. I doubt you'll feel the difference with just changing the rim, but if you change other bits it'll all add up and you'll notice it.

Seems like a bit of a conflicting sponsor, I know if I owned LAS helmets and one of my riders is riding for TSG too, I wouldn't be to happy.

Does that mean he'll be wearing an LAS helmet and not a TSG helmet, but just TSG gloves and pads?

How can you be sponsored by two different helmet manufactures?

There is another British round there this year. They are pretty nasty rocks in the wet but it you pick your edges ok then it's fine most of the time, just don't go skidding down on your front wheel
