It says 2004 in the title. Nice looking bike, no colour clashing.

I had the same debate in the Argos catalogue too, and I eventually chose the Canon MV790 because its fairly cheap, mini DV, has decent optical zoom, digital image stabiliser, digic dv processor, 16:9 true widescreen recording, night mode etc etc the list goes on. Cost me £200, and I got a Canon bag/tapes with it. I use it nearly every day, and its been nothing but excellent. I got hold of a wide angle lens too (borrowing) and that has helped my filming a lot. Oh and if you buy a mini DV chances are you will need a fiewire capture card/cable for your PC, I got mine for £8 posted off ebay, a wise purchase for quick and easy film capture.

All I can suggest is that you type your username with a capital letter, make sure your password is accurate. Your port should be set as 21, and the address should be ftp.trials-shack.co.uk. Thats how I do it, works everytime. It could just be your FTP program though, so try that.

I totally agree, people should have fun and all that, but dont act like complete noobs at a competition. I realise football matches have hooligans, but most of those people are knobs all the time, where as I know 99% of trials riders are usually OK, even if they misbehave at competitions. We dont want to give the sport a bad name as its always growing in popularity, so we need to keep people involved, rather than shun them away with swearing/agression/general retardedness.

Hey, went for a chilled ride last night and did some filming. Nothing amazing here, just some time out to make the most of the nice warm evening weather. tv.isg.si File is mpg, 32mb, 2.35 mins long. The sound is nothing compared to hope pro 2's and chris kings, maybe its just how the camera captured the sound though, sounded a little fuzzy. Looks good, but I doubt it will be anything special, most people are happy with their profile, hope and chris king rear hubs.

I dont get it, 458 downloads (some on OTN admitedly) and about 12 comments (not including mine). I understand that everybody doesnt HAVE to leave comments, but it does help to the people who make the videos as they know whats good/bad and so their next one will be more enjoyable.

I run a chris king classic on the rear and I love it.

How would that work? Firstly I filmed it myself, as the rider is me, and you need to film each shot individually, so a skateboard wouldnt do anything really...

Cool video, I got a bit bored of all the pallet riding though as it took up over half the video. Keep it up.

Yeah mine does look a little rough, but I wanted it a little 'bumpy' as I can picture it in my head smooth, and it would look crap. Oh and the wide angle lens, its selotaped on with a curled up piece of a4 paper (like a tube) and it insisted on slipping down. :$ It took about half anf hour to film, I filmed the move 37 times.

Yeh I know like I said could have been better, I filmed the first half and couldnt be arsed to keep it accurate for the second. I know its been done before, but that was with other moves, plus I wanted a proper go myself as I love the effect.

Have a look on tv.isg.si-Filename is 'aquila.mpg' I felt it came out OK, could have been better. I was bored and thought I would share it with you. Luke
