Sweeeeet, I love the look of long 24" bikes. I had a pair of those gusset grips, I found them a little too hard though.
-
Yeh cool video mate, some decent riding there. I like the way you used the same obstacle but in different ways. I thought it was a little longer than it needed to be though, the moves got repetitive.
-
Mine was ordered on Monday, I havent got it, it still says 'awaiting confirmation' on the site. I really cant wait to get it much longer.
-
Yeh it is fast, cheers glad you liked it.

Get an Avid BB7, awesome brake, the hopes got nothing on its simplicity and performance. I have tried hopes, and they feel pretty nice but everyone who has had go with my Avid 185mm disc has said it feels amazing. It is really powerful as you said you wanted, it had tremendous bite and lock, and unlike the 203mm version that a lot of people like James are running now my 185mm rotor still means its got lots of modulation, so on gaps to front wheel you can feather the brake to roll the bike onto the obstacle. Also I have had mine close to a year now, never had to re-adjust the caliper aligment, change the pads or cable/lever and I have only lubed the cable/spring etc once. No maintenance done to it yet it still works so well.

Ordered mine last night, cant wait hopefully it will be here tomorrow for me, no doubt I will open the package, stick it in the player and watch the whole thing in one go.

Yeh I wouldnt mind some good natty close by, its a refreshing change. I have just noticed one of the admins or mods has put up a TF mirror link up for me on my first post, how kind. Thanks whoever it was, more comments would be nice (seeing as theres two working links now, on good servers), Im not afraid of honesty, I try to respond to the bad points of my videos to make them better next time.

I dont think trials riders fall into any one category, as we are all from different backgrounds. Some are on the greebo side of things coming from skating, some are chavvy coming from football, the list goes on. We all wear different clothes, listen to different music and like different things, so its hard to tell really.

Yep, says my download limit has been reached yet I havent downloaded anything off there in months.

Long time no see Chris, hows the riding in New Zealand? Glad you like the video. Come on guys, loads of views in comparison to the amount of replies, I appreciate your opinions.

Thanks guys, keep the comments coming.

I would still be a bit of a greebo hanging around on my skateborad. That or I would be playing computer games all day long. Bit crap really. Trials has become a big part of my life, at the moment my life is basically trials and school, with other little things becoming important now and then.

Ditto. My king hardly ever skips, and I bought it second hand. It is quite an old hub now, and I only run wd40 in it. It hardly ever skips and when it does its very minor ie I am pedalling along and I feel a little click as the cranks move about 2mm. There must be something seriously wrong Janson. Get it checked out if you can. _skj0lsvik_, I would recommend the new hope trial hub, although I have never tried one they look very good for the money. If not, get a revolver and ACS as people have said or do what I did and get a nice cheap king wheel off ebay.

Right, in four steps this is how I do it (without a tap); 1-Approach the obstacle quite fast, too fast and you will lose composure mid air, too slow and you wont make it up, unless your a powerhouse. Crouch a little, so you can explode up. Have your wrong foot up, so you can do a 3/4 pedal stroke before you hop (this varies from person to person). 2-Pedal whilst pulling up on the bars quite hard, the key thing here for me is to get the front wheel really steep before hopping, so you can land on the backwheel easier and stay on it when on top. 3-Lift the bike and maintain the angle that you had when you pulled the front end up so you can land on top nicely. 4-This is key, push the bike forward and upwards as hard and fast as you can so that you can gain maximum height and stay on the back wheel when you have landed. I only pull the back brake the moment before I land so that if necesary my back wheel can roll up the object that extra cm. Here is a little picture that might help; [attachmentid=2875]

The riding was all Cleethorpes, except for the two clips on the pallets which were in Scunthorpe where I live. Cleethorpes is mint for riding but very few people know much about where it is. I have tried to put my other videos behind me and make more like this one, with much better riding spots in them and more variety. Thanks for all the comments, glad you like it. Please keep them coming, whatever your opinion.

Thanks Comments appreciated.

Hey guys, here is my new video filmed around Cleethorpes, with literally one or two clips from Scunthorpe where I live. Responding to the universal opinion (even by myself) that my other videos were too samey, I have tried to make this one better, and for the first time I am happy with it. Enough babbling from me, tell me what you think please guys. .wmv, 32mb. Filename is 'Drewery-the middle' Tv.isg.si TF Mirror Cheers, Luke.

I had the same problem, you just need to close the page, clear the cookies, open the internet, go to history, vote, repeat.
-
Nice video, some good riding in there.
-
Oh so true. Loved the video as always, nice big smooth riding and good locations. Nice flowing editing in the video too, always makes it more watchable.
-
Yep, there is no video file extension ie .wmv in the link. Left click the link, a load of written nonsense comes up. Not sure what has caused it though?

I completely f**cked my zebdi mk2, too many drops back when I was learning how to land them smooth. Heres a picture for you all; Its the only frame I have ever cracked/snapped and the strange thing is it didnt snap at the weld, it snapped the tubing just above it clean in half...

.......iolobikes.com Teaser......... New Bike On The Scene !
Luke Drewery replied to IOLO's topic in Videos
Awesome video, some crazy wheel swaps (you call them pigeons? ) in there. Mint looking bike too. -
I voted about 10 times so far using the 'clear cookies' method. This is so gonna win, unless the people who created the other ideas are doing the exact same thing. So you asked your school to vote? If the other people have asked their school like it said on that email then they could have had a 1000 more votes than you, though I really doubt it.
