  1. turn the carb (no1 in the pic) in all the way then turn out 2 1/2 turns, then because it hasent been run in so long put some fuel straight into the engien and pull the pull start a few times (without the glow plug in) then try and start it again if it does start leave it to tick over for about 10 minuits DO NOT rev it as soon as you get it running as this will sease the engien sam

  4. Get some caustic soda from a hardware store, mix it into a solution , slosh it onto the bash, and hey presto the anodising has gone :- just make shure you ware gloves as it is a very strong alkali and can/will melt your skin (Y) sam

  7. your coust's dont work in the wet (Y) mine seem to work just as well as in the dry, heatsink blues dont seem to work in the wet, well not for me any way. they seem to have lots of bite but not much hold(in the dry) and just slip all over the place in the wet, sam
  8. i ride everyday with a set of warn out creepy crawlers,and have a new set of koxx tyers for competitions, i have different pads for different conditions aswell but thats as far as i go i don't run different hubs or anything like that :P just u wait till iolo gets back ali (Y) he sead hes goin to get us out every day rain or shine :) lol cheers sam

  11. for the rear a king or a new echo 72ep hub, and for the front an american classic, best hub iv ever had(aswell as my king bmx) :) both ace hubs, you cant go wrong and will last aaaages make shure u get a 32 hole though, so u can run the echo rim :P sam

  13. is it just me or is that bashplate totally defeating the object of having one :)? all other bashplates have a rubber elastomer/shockabsorber, and by having the 2 plates directly bolted to the frame theres going to be nothing to absorb the force of impact so the impact is going streight into the frame, putting more stress on it, i'm not too keen on the fat bb yoke either :P sam

    yer Ali C did that an gave/sold them to fat mike the tubing held together but the disc mount came off :angry: i think ali is in the process of makin another pair , he was goin to let me use them but they have post mounts so i would need a new brake

    yes i did :P they didn't last right long (not after ali c went on my bike anyway) lol, the carbon fibre wasn't of high enough quality and the only place i could find that did any strong enough had a minimum order quantity of £250 :ermm: wouldn't mind having another go with better tube though sam EDIT: heres a pic
  16. ali's brake is immense 10x better than my hope mono trial :) get a marta off crc for £99.99 best brake iv ever had. i had it for over a year and didn't have to touch it. sam
  17. iv had my hogneasiums since august an have only ripped out one pin (i find them abit too grippy aswell :) ), but i wouldn't spend £40 on a pair of pedals again, vp's&v8ts all the way noice and cheep sam

  19. araldite dident seem to work for me i could just pull the material off with my fingers (Y) superglue (CA) works great much stronger and quicker (Y) sam
  20. cut in half makes a pair of 35mm pads (Y)
  21. super glue is what i used for my coust pads and cultiv8ed matts material an it seems to work well, i used some from a model plane shop super think and seeks into all the holes (Y) i think it was £3.50 for a 50ml tub. i used 35mm pad backings so there wasnt anything to cut away but i think you can just cut the square things away. iv got me some coust material coming my way aswell 70x10x10 (Y) sam
