It seems to me that the bike got damaged due to poor packing. How did you pack it? How did you protect it? Which parts of the bike weren't attached and how did you secure them? A brilliant working brake is a matter of opinion. Also, if the rear wheel was removed, it will need time to bed in again. So long as the brake works (mechanically) you can't really have a go at him for that one.
If it was 100% done off ebay, then i'd agree. But if, for example an ebay topic was put up here on TF, i think feedback should be left on both ebay and tf. My basic rule of thumb is if there's a topic to link the feedback too, it's fine.
He's probably not. If he had a topic up here you shouldn't have any problem leaving him feedback but i'm petty sure you have to be a full member. I'd leave feedback on your behalf if it wasn't against the rules. All i can suggest is getting in touch with him and try get some money back, but as a new member you're in a weak position i'm afraid.
Well maybe it's not as healthy as cooking something in the oven, but it's not going to give you cancer. You don't really cook things in the microwave anyway. Stuff like frozen meals just need heating up.
I dunno, if i owned a bike shop and I had done that i'd just have a chuckle to myself when i saw the orders, write apology letters. Maybe even give them a code for 10% off their next order. And be glad of the high traffic of which this topic will have undoubtably created. But if you're argument is calling me a tool you must be right. x
I'd have to disagree. When i first opened the topic i just laughed, i didn't go in and oder 10 pairs of rims and get all excited that i was going to get a bargain.
I was a bit funny about the lack of sound, but the amazing performance of a rear disc makes up for it. Then after 10 mins you get used to a silent bike, and then after 20 mins you enjoy not hearing SWWWWWWWWAAAAAAAAAAAAAEEERRRRK every time you brake.
