I think the optimal break stiffness is 100% stiff. I can't see any benefits in having any flex in the frame. If a frame is flexing out power is being diverted, and when you release it's just going to make your brake feel spongy as the frame will have to flex back, then the brake will be released.

That's a much more sensible and realistic plan.

BB raise is how much higher the bottom bracket is from the imaginary line from axle to axle. It can vary from -10mm to about +60ish i think. Trials bikes often have a higher bb than from other bikes. I'm not 100% sure how this effects riding though. I'll let someone else explain it to your rather than me trying to stumble though it. Head angle is the angle of your headset (what the forks and bars are connected to), it usually sits around the 72 degree mark. Again, i'm not sure how this effects riding. Chain stay 'stay' length is the length from your BB to your rear axle, long stays allow for much better leverage for most trials moves, gapping, upping, side hopping. However, shorter stays make the bike much easier to get onto the back wheel, and will live you much more control when you're up there. Shorter stays make a bike much better at bunnyhopping, and general movement of the bike is easier. WB - wheelbase is measured from axle to axle and sits between 950mm and 1100mm. Like having short stays, having a shorter WB makes the bike much more maneuverable, better at bunny hopping and good for spins etc. Long wb's will be better for tapping and hooking, gapping and side hopping and all those general power moves. There's also the Centre of BB shell to top centre of head tube, i think it's referred to as cab length? Again, not sure how that effects riding, i think it may be more of a comfort thing. Your best bet in buying a frame is porting up how you like to ride, or what you ride (street / comp / natural etc) and people will suggest a frame as just looking at the numbers alone isn't going ti be much use unless you've had half a dozen frames.

Yeah, like has been said even if you fill out all the royal mail paperwork you're still only going to get £32 (maybe £34 i think it is now) back. Me personally, i'd tell the guy to wait one more week and then if it still hasn't arrived i would give him his money back, but then again i'd never be in that situation as i always insure my item properly and when you insure an item (even if it's just recored) they never get 'lost'. My bad, i thought there was an old blue t-rex, then a gold one, then the t-rex with flames, then the red and silver one, then the most recent one. Nope, I just think it's silly to have 2 sub-forums, one of which is more out of date than the old Onza website and the other of which is never ever used.

When i was on the homepage on TF earlier i clicked on the topic along side trials chat (which takes you straight to the last topic that was replied to if you didn't know) and i ended up in a FAQ topic. I then went and looked about in the FAQ section for the first time and noticed that there's topics on the first page that haven't been posted in for over a year and a half! I understand why the FAQ section has been kept, as it does contain a lot of good information and a lot of hard work has gone into some topics, but some of the topics in there are over 3 years old and very out of date. For example the topic about tiers fitting into frames, pretty much all those frames on there are long gone, or will be a completely different frame with the same name like the t-rex, there's probably been about 4 different t-rex frames since then, and it's probably doing more harm than good, people may go on there and not notice how out of date it is and made bad decisions on that information. Also the wiki discussions subforum just seems to be a list of every wiki page ever created, 99% of which have 0 replies, and the other 1% are just people bitching about how someone has 'hacked' their account and made a topic. Anyone agree with me that they should have the plugged pulled on them?

I think the problem your facing is that only large shops will do bikes on credit but don't sell trials bikes, but the smaller / trials specific shops won't because they're just too small and don't have the money to do bikes on credit. Maybe thought about a credit card?

If you didn't really know him back then, then you shouldn't really have any feelings of anger towards him. It would be different if he was a good friend then. I agree with what's been said, once and cheater always a cheater.
