  1. I've often thought the whole 'friends ex's are out of bounds' thing to be f**king stupid. If they're together at the time it's a big no no. But ex means they aren't together anymore! What friend wouldn't want another friend to be happy? A bad one that's what.
  2. Yeah that's the idea. Me either. What's the car got to do with anything?
  3. I still don't get it. Am I being thick?
  4. If they're the highlights it looks relatively a little crap.
  5. All set for next Friday. Me being drunk with a sonic screwdriver should be fun.
  6. That wiggle room is probably the room where the leaver isn't actually touching the piston. Did you bleed with no tpa on?
  7. 1. I told you so. 2. When you bleed a magura you should always undo the tpa as fully as possible, where ever you have the tpa when you bleed a magura it resets the engagement point (as you put it) to that point so if the tpa was fully screwed in you won't have any extra room to play with. It's just like setting up a v brake with the adjustment on the leaver screwed right out, then when you find the leaver pulls right down to the bars you have no more adjustment left at the leaver. So, undo the tpa as much as possible, and rebleed. Also, the grub screw just ajusts the reach of the leaver, it shouldn't be used for altering the bite point. (Unless you have hope mono trials )
  8. It'd work with a ffs.

    Charity

    +1 from me too.
  10. That's true, but has been said there's new mods in the lineup, so at this very moment in time there people who are suitable to be mods, that aren't. But anyway, i don't know what goes on behind the scenes, all i can do is suggest the idea, and let you lot work out whether it'll be viable or not.
  11. All i'm talking about is a little note saying. "Their warn was increased and were given a suspension for 3 days." It'd take like an extra 30 seconds per report. Amusing TF gets 10 reports a day, it's 5 mins of time per day, with new mods the extra workload per mod wouldn't be much . Could even be automated. Also, I've heard a lot of comments like "more work for the mods" and "the mods don't get paid". Lets not forget there's dozens of TF members out there willing to put work into this forum, and the only power they have is to report.
  12. That's good. What would increase the effectiveness of the report system 10 fold is if each report was replied to by PM. Now that there's going to be a few more mods about maybe this might be worth putting to practice. I often feel when I report a post the report gets sent and nothing get done about it, or it get dismissed as "stop taking stuff so seriously". This will put a lot of people off reporting and they will take the situation into their own hands. Even if something does get done about it (in most cases i'm sure it does), someone get's warned or suspended, the reporter isn't going to know about it and will feel justice hasn't been served. A response to every report = more people reporting.

    Charity

Most people choose charity's because of family or friends being seriously ill or because they died from something. That way it makes what you're doing have a lot more meaning.
  15. I never know what i really do to frustrate you so much, you hated me 2 weeks after i was validated because "I posted in every topic", but i'm not going to change anytime soon so just ignore my posts? On a non-personal level i have absolutely zero problems with you, you know you're stuff and when someone asks a question about the for mentioned stuff you spend time and care to answer, like the mac or photography thread. But when you take things to such personal levels, which you've done even when it wasn't fueled by me, you're going to get a reaction, people end up warned, nothings achieved, and topics like this pop up.
  16. It seems like you're a new rider, ignore what i'm saying if you're not. The new Onza Bird is a good looking bike. Possibly the nicest looking budget bike ever. Rather than upgrade the crap out of you're bike just get to grips with trials first. That bike pretty much as it is will be fine for you for about half a year. By then you'll have more of an understanding on what you need upgrading and don't, and how to fit it yourself too. It seems like you're just going after the adamant parts, most riders bikes are a mish mash of all sorts of different brands as they find for example one company can make a really good crank and the other a really good hub. Hang around the forum a lot too, you learn lots! So yeah, ride and upgrade as and when you need too.
  17. I think if you went to you're local sorting office and asked them, you could make the reply address your name, but use the sorting office's address. Then pop in every now and again and ask if they have any mail for you.
  18. Glad someone said what i was thinking.

    Laptops

A couple of months is a long time for a laptop. I find after about 6 months cheap laptops have been replaced with a different model and you can't buy them anymore. EDIT: You can buy them for £300 now.

    Laptops

I don't think you'll sell it for that much. It's too expensive for a 2nd hand laptop.
