My sister did the same to hers. Rang them up, told them its knackered. Couple of days later they came to pick up the broken one, then a new one was delivered a week later.

Band forums are also good for getting bootlegs of certain bands. So if your slightly obsessed by a certain band, get yourself on a good forum with members who upload bootlegs. Thats how i get all my oasis bootlegs anyway.

If you can, book a 30min/1hour lesson with your instructor before hand. I did about 45 mins before mine. Did each manoeuvre one last last time which reminded me i could actually do them, and helped me get all my mirrors positioned perfectly. Then just drove around the area near the test centre for a bit. Then by the time of the test i was already in the swing of it and felt comfortable in the car. Good luck

Theres a few 'Carling' academy's around london. It could be either, brixton and islington academys' are both in London, and both owned/sponsored by carling. So make sure you know which one it is. Brixton is a bit of a dodgy area, but its only a short walk from the station to the academy, and the road wil be full of people attending the gig, so you shouldnt get any hassle at that time. Wouldnt reccomend hanging around there unnecessarily though.

Mean Fiddler is a great lil venue. Its very close to the tube station and ive never had any trouble there at night. By the carling academy do you mean the one in islington? If so its a bit of a longer walk from the station, but the two times ive been there it seemed like a safe enough area.

I think for just viewing it on a computer, its not very necessary. But it would be good if you wished to put vids onto a DVD and watch them on TV, would be very nice indeed. Not many people would have the patience to download them though, apart from us lucky few with a fast-b*****d net connection. The connection in my uni room is 100.0Mbps ;)

My mates started at Nottingham this year, doing law, and from what hes told me its a great uni. Decent lecturers, great area, halls are good, etc. Everything hes said has been positive. (Y) Also got a mate at Manchester, but I havnt had the chance to speak to him yet, so I dont know what he thinks of it.

Hang on to the bike for a while whether you ride it or not. I havent ridden for bout 7 months now and came very close to selling my bike, but now im really thinking about getting back into it and as i still have the bike, theres nothing stopping me. If i had sold it id be regretting it big time now.
