Yeah common people, it sounds like a really cool event with all man made sections. So it should be good for street riders aswell as the comp riders. I have sent my entry in with the cheque for £10 which I think is very reasonable. There is speed trials aswell after the main trial which I have entered too because it sounds well good fun. Andy says that it has cost him£500 to do so he needs at least 51 riders to be able to make a donation to the DJ fund. I know it is a bit out of the way but I cant think of a nicer place to do a bit of camping on the saturday night, right by the cost. Would even be good if every one found somewhere to camp the night before have a laugh and then the sunday night maybe go out on the piss or something. I think that alot of people are actually thinking of coming but just havent sent off any entry forms. If you do plan to come then just try and let andy know as soon as posible by sending off the officail entry form. Im really excited (Y) ;)

Now that you have said that, I remeber having a go on matt staples kot when chai had it at the brentwood cycle show and that felt really short even though its quite long, so that might be an option, it really apealed to me. It did feel really short, shorter than my control.

Could have a look at the woodstock from onza, no bb rise and not the toughest but they rise sweet and come in at around 1055. Or the echo control, a bit longet than u want as the 1060 version i have is more like 1070 but that has 20+ bb and is a tough ass.

Do u mean u rounded off the resevoiur (sp?) top cap bolts? I have done that to, it is silly to use 2mm bolts there, I had to drill the hole on the top slightly wider and use a srewdriver. Dont think i will get new bolts as it will just happen again. :turned:

With quality cranks like middleburn you should never ever have a problem with them rounding off. I would go with square taper because I have only ever broken two axels in 5 years and the bb's are cheap and last ages and ages and ages and.... I think you would only ever have a problem with square taper if you take your crank arms off twice a month or something like that. I personaly dont know, but can you actually tell the difference in stiffness between middleburn square and middleburn isis??

Wrap it up in bubble wrap, wrap some cardboard around it and make sure its all secure and then take it down the post office. Shouldnt cost more than £20 I would have thought.

why dont you sidehop that high without then!!! :) Good pic, and nice side hop. I sidehop best to my right with my right foot forward aswell, it just feels nicer. I can do it both ways but slightly higher to the right. Only bad thing for me is hitting the mech. I also think its only a problem going to your good foots side when you need to side hop up something at a corner
