  1. Hey there,

Im in the middle of some upgrading, getting a new drivertrain system, as soon as i got everything together, im gonna post up some new pictures.

  2. I guess you got me wrong. The question was which one of the two of those rotors. I sad Benito is using the one on the first picture, and not the second one. Both are Try-all. The second one especially made for the rear brake, while the other one wasnt. They (Benito, Carles D..) still could use the symetric, but they dont... So, I suppose the first one works better, thats why Benito using that, just like Carles Diaz.
  3. Im pretty sure, that Benit Ros using the first one in the picture, so it shouldnt be that bad, i would get that one.
  4. You should also check out this page http://www.hopegb.com/page_mep_force_4.html, there are some very helpful videos, on how centralise the pistons, bleed the brake, shortening the hose...
  5. My favourite riders must be Keita Miyaoka and Kazuki Terai. Smooothest 20" riders out there. I also really like Carles Diaz's style and his power.
  6. It works okay. I cut off every second knob on my maxxis creepy crawlers and saved almost 100 gramms. It grips just as good or maybe better than before..
  7. 18/12 with 165mm cranks or 170s or even 174s. 18/13 with a 160mm.
  8. As others said before me. I'd never call this a test. Go out and ride some sketchy rocks, do things that would make your wheel go backwards. Jump onto edges from distance for example.
  9. Dman it looks pretty great built up, but the frame itselft...
  10. Damn, i just arrived in work and thougth there wont be anything on this stupid internet, but you sir, made my day with this video. Now i wanna go home and ride my bike the whole day. Great music choice btw, whats the first song?
  11. This is the tar that i used, when i had rim brake.
  12. Im running my chain very tight for 3-4 years now, never snapped because of that i believe. I also use the same bb, rear hub for more than a year now, and they are still pretty smoth. I agree it will ruin the bearings, but to be honest, if its okay for a year and a half, than its worht it for me.
  13. Damn, im so in love with those green hopes. I could use a pair on my dd mod. That'd be sweet.
  14. Its soo good for you that your dad help you this much. My dad was never ever interested in the sports i do or did.
  15. Well, i agree with most of the things you sad. - but - i've been using dual hope monos on my 20" czar for a year now, and im not a smooth rider in anyways, i weight 72kgs, and never ever had any kind of problem with the brakes. Never really slipped back because of the 160mm...
  16. Not Benito is the average rider. . I doubt that Dani Comas is 60kg, he is more than 90kgs, which is pretty heavy. I dont know anything about your or the others riding skills, but im pretty sure that you dont do 3 meter jumps, or 1.5 pedal ups (correct me if im wrong), or anything huge like that. If that 160mm monty hope brake can holds up Dani Comas without any slippage at a 160cm high bunny hop with full speed, than im sure it would hold your 90kg back on a 2 meter drop gap...
  17. If the 155mm is enough for Benito Ross and the others, im pretty sure it'll be more than enough for the avarage rider.
  18. Damn, he does look like a big dude!
  19. Yeah it will, if you bash it on the streets, it should last a season under a smooth comp rider. They arent for the streets...
  20. My hope mono trials brakes, they are amazing piece of art works. Wellgo mg-1 pedals.
  21. Damn, I cannot wait for those videos!! Im so excited.
  22. I dont really know how much is it in the UK, but in Hungary, its 35.999.- HUF whic is 112 GBP.
  23. Damn dude, you must have big balls doing it without full protection...
