  2. Yer, i c ur point but the main reason i want it inside is cos i get home from school at 6.00pm and its cold and dark so i can still ride in the shed, pallets are lethal at this time of yr and i have a radio inside (i always ride on my own). I could ride until 2 in the morning if i wanted, but usually i hurt myself before then! lol -Andrew
  3. My sidehop, 7 pallets high, notice i am doing it the wrong way, but im not really bothered, i practice both ways and i can go equally high. and this is my new winter trianing ground, its floodlit and weather proof, it isnt huge, cos of the stored wheat, tractors and a combine are also in the shed. Oh, i live on a farm as u might have guessed. Any comments appreciated -Andrew
  4. Can someone please give me the exact geaometry of a lb long, i need to replace mine with something similar. Only post if your sure it right Thanks, Andrew
  5. Thats a nice vid Stan. The limey looks like an uber frame. I see u've done the large gap from the pipe to the tyre with ease. Nice one. Looked like a muddy wet day which makes it even better. -Andrew

    Photo's!

Sweet pics Waynio, that bike looks uber. The sidehops are huge. See on sunday at brimham -Andrew
  7. either that or the pivot bolt that hold your lever on could be to tight. If so slacken it off a tad and threadlock it at the desired tightness -Andrew
  8. As it says, who'll be at the tyke trial at the weekend. I'm really looking forward to it, it'll b uber, as long as the weather is reasonable. hope to see you there... -Andrew

    My Tpa Bodge

Hey aran, it was probably mine that u saw at fort bill, on my lb 20" (u gave me the brake pad and had a ride on my bike before u twisted ur ankle!). I replaced the plastic one because it broke due to all the force that is applied from ur finger being exerted on the plastic threads. When this happened the lever just pulls in and renders it useless. i would advise every one with the new maggies to do something about it. it could reck ur days riding if it happens to you. As a temporary fix i used an M5 nut, but the diameter is hardly large enough to turn with ur fingers, but it allowed me to carry on riding for a while. -Andrew
  12. This is my 05 maggie tpa, its the same dimensions as the original red one but is miles better. Its more responsive and reliable cos the lever is pushing on metal threads as opposed to plastic. i turned it out on a lathe out of a huge shaft from a tractor. i knurled it so its easy to turn with the fingers. I love it, its uber. the TPA: [RESIZED PICTURE BELOW] -Andrew
  13. i live on a farm, so in the winter i put my pallets in our corn shed, its flood lit, its not great but it worth having, soz, got no pics. -Andrew

    Fort Bill

I had an absolutely awesome weekend, even though i didnt do particularly well in the overall comp my highlights are: cleaning section 5 (log 1) with a popped front tyre!!! tom rigg (cheers for taking me!!) he came third in inter (well done!!!) managing to rip my brake pad to pieces while backwheeling the log rack. the amazing street ride outside the trian station (especially when the security guards came out!!! lmao) Does anyone know the name of the lad who came but didnt ride the comp who had longish blond hair and was amazing at front wheel gaps and ups?? he rides a silver t rex? Big thanks got to all the observers and organisers, the crowds were cool. special thanks to the lad with the python who gave me a front innertube (soz, cant remember ur name, but thanks!!!) and thanks to aran cook who gave me an old brake pad when i destroyed mine. i had a great time staying in the tent in which we managed to get tom's volvo inside!!! so cheers to tom rigg and phil king. Cheers, Andrew (i ride a koxx lb and have a blue thing going on and enjoyed doing some huge backwheeling on the logs without touches!!)
  15. I really enjoyed the trial today. Thanks must go to Barbara, Wayne, all the observers, the burger van and anyone else who helped out. I havnt been on my bike for a bit and this was the first trial that i have ridden in a while. i was pleased with how i rode and well done to my mates tom phill and steve who offered support and rode well themselves. Cheers Wayne and well done to everyone and i hope to see the results soon!!! it would also be great if anyone with pics from the event could post them here. -Andrew

    Help!

I recently spilt a splash of oil on my front magura louise disk brake when i was bleeding my rear maggie. Since then i have cleaned the rotor numerous times with finish line rotor cleaner and i have replaced the pads. The quality of the brake has improved but is still poor compared to when it was new. What else will help? ive heard that boiling might do it, will this help? cheers, Andrew

    Bb Shell

Hi, Im about to buy a wider bb for my koxx LB 20" cos my monty cranks are rubbing on the frame. I'm going to buy an FSA platinum BB ISIS 128mm. It is designed for a 73mm bb shell but you can add a spacer which allows u to use it with a 68mm shell. What i want to know is what is the sidth of the bottom bracket shell on my bike??
  21. Yeah, im definatley doing that, on the saturday, i got moy entry form in ages ago, who else will i expect to see on the saturday, Tom Rigg?? -Andrew
