  1. it is possible, but it feels sooooo bad, its not worth doing! You will have to find some new seals to suite mineral oil to go in the hope lever. The piston ratio is so small that the lever is spongy as hell and you have to have the pads setup pratically touching the rim the whole time. either get a maggie or deng brake, or be extra happy and get a vee.
  2. just been out on my own, it was great, sessioned a barge on the canal for a bit, but it kept on floating away spent about 2 hours riding though, was very cool.
  3. more hold, lighter lever veel, more adjustable, pads last longer, quieter, spair parts can be bought in any bike shope all over the wolrd, pads can be replaced easier and quicker.
  4. seen stan sidehop craig? he lands mega turned, I guess thats how he sticks to some of the stuff he does
  5. doesn't count! no way no how! nope! nadda! at all! end of! Tucking is ok, but not when its on a wall you can just pigeon or pivot up, thats just stupid.
  6. cheers for the replys guys. Is that really his email address? or is it a pisstake?
  7. cool pics was a fun ride, shame your bikes got nicked, iolos mech broke and Andy's head bolt snapped though I am on a simtra because I am waiting for the revised Ashton proto to come. the simtra is pretty much the same geo as my Ashton Proto.
  8. as the title really,if anyone knows it could they pm me? I need to get in touch with him quickly. Cheers
  9. I am not having much luck with brakes at the mo I have been using bb7s for the past few years and have been really happy with them, I have found that they start to go crap after about 8 months though. I just bought a new one last week as mine went crap, but I am not having any luck with my new one, its RUBBISH!! no bite at all. I have had a few mono trials too, never really got on with them either, I am tempted to stick mine back on though. I am going to look for a magura fr and maybe an avid juicy 7 or code. grrr, stupid disks!!
  10. cheers for the reply peeps, I'll try and bosh a vid up, been practasing on a 24", so expect a streety vid soon

  13. yo got sent this clip from koxx days, I aint sure if its going in someone elses vid, but I dont have any vids on the go so I though I would slap it up here. enjoy
  14. narr, do them! but get some other stuff too some of the most fun riding I have had is just riding a curb doing silly tricks
  15. get a pic of a wall ride or backwards nose roll!! Sidehops are soo last year (nice tucks though)
  16. no worries dave, you know I'll be entering!! Will do my form soon. Well worth entering peeps, they are a jolly good larf
  17. those mission ones? I am doubtful to wether they will allow your brake to go wide enough for the 47mm rim. They are also pretty gash! Its well worth the extra to get something you know will work and work well. heatsink gets my vote. use some sort of light lube on the cable when you install it, wd40, tf2 or white lightening dry wax all work pretty well. Set the springs on the arms as slack as they will go while still returning back to pisition, that gives the brake a much smoother lighter feel. The booster wont fit if you use the heatsink adaptor due to it making the bolt spacing wider, you would have to drill the booster out to take m6 bolts too. Try an echo vee booster, having a booster will really help holding power.

    Biff Latest Video.

more tgs full vid should be alright though, though I dare you to do some front hops, a manual and maybe a backwards nose roll That gap was weird too! You took off about a foot from the edge and went sideways!! very random lol, looks rather large though. PS, Joe is lovley, cant say a bard word about him
  19. k710 if singlespeed, k810 if running gears
  20. am i missing something? is there a dirt jump contest at weekend? Waynio.......................
  21. set them up properly, get good pads, get good cable and run a grind depending on what pads you get. Will be better than a maggie then
  22. I had a 110 mm stem on my (temporary) frame, that felt like a barge, now I have a 105mm stem and its totally changed it, made it really bunnyhopable, it improved the ride 10X, it doesn't feel like a barge at all now.
  23. I have found ebay to be pretty random! tried to sell a friends car, put it on for 7 days with a reserve of 400 (what she wanted) after 7 days the highest bid was £80! so it didnt sell. I then put it on a one day auction and put a reserve of £200.....at the end of the day it was at £480!! very random.
