Blazing Saddles in hebden bridge is good, they have at least two t pros in stock now (I built them :P ) not too far from leeds either or get it from tartybikes, is an excellent shop, but online only.

I wouldnt run anything but braided hose. The only stuff worth getting though is maggies own brand. Its actually lighter than normal hose and you never have to worry about your bars spinning and snapping the hose. Its mint.

Would You Sacrifice Weight For Durability
Ali C replied to Zoo_Monkey's topic in Beginners Trials Chat
well, I ride comps and have my bike setup that way. You would think it would be setup super light, but it isnt. First, wide rims are heavier, I have a mavic 321 on the front as its nice and wide, I also have a maxxis slow reezay tyre on the front for more grip, but this tyre is heavier than what a lot of treet riders run. Then theres all the gears, mech, cable, shifer, it all adds up. If I didnt do comps I could make my bike a lot lighter, well, actually, I am anyway. Ti bolts, tubless, drilled front rim, lighter front tyre, so hopfully I can have a light bike again, but it wont be as strong, but its not really the riding that would break things like bolts, just over tightening. so the answer is I m sacrificing reliability for weight, but my current bike is the opposite. -

I ranna ride riverpool -
I wouldnt say smart guys are strong, I have seen wayy too many snapped pairs for my liking. I also dont reccomend fattys, mine have a crack in but I do treat my front end quite harsh. My top choices are Echos (which ever you fancy) bt pashleys

waaaaayy, great ride, best I have had in a while. I was suprised to see so many people, normally I dont like big groups as it tends to atract more fuzz, but it didnt seem to be too bad a problem this time (except for the uni) I missed the train because they were running 6 mins early (Y) how stupid is that. When I (well, we) got to the granit wall, everyone had gone (or not arrived?), anyway, within the first 5 mins of just messing there, I got a front puncture :P cheers for letting me use the repairkit :- I was pleased with my riding, my taps are getting there. I tapped the concrete block by the road near the playhouse, I have wanted to do that evr since I saw Holroyd do it years ago. I did it first time, and then to manual :P Rossi, Damon, chris, mat and kyle were also having it easily. BTW, Mat and Damon are total beasts!!

but are crap in the wet so I have heard. I am just gonna run normal pads on the rotor, they wont last as long, but the brake will be super powerful, perfect for comps (will be replaced by a normal steel one for everyday riding)

I have a 2004 maggie lever with cnc blade. I wanna get a fresh blade as and when they come out (Y) I have tried the 05 levers and I think they are the most horrid feeling things ever.

I would love to be rich :) but I know theres no way I would ever put in the effort to make it happen. I once had the oppertunity to do a job (tool maker) at £25 an hour, I lasted 2 days. It was just too much work. I wanna spend my life doing what I want on my terms, not most of my life working in some factory doing stuff that someone else wants me to do.

the riding was amazing, shame he's on a mod though :P he sure can bunnyhop though, but mods are stupidly easy for that :) I thought the vid was pretty boring though, too much demo stuff, part stuff and drunk stuff. They repeated a lot of moves too. I saved mine to a cd, but I am gonna delete it though

lol, do you know what a great job is? :) I wish I knew what job I wanted when I was 15..............actually, I wish I knew what I wanted to do as a job now :P

I recken everyone worries about their gcses too much, grades arnt everything. I havent got any gcses, but I get along ok. Enjoy yourselves more, being young is awesome, dont wast it on making sure you get good grades (unless you enjoy stuff like that)

When I was at school, I HATED homework. I hated it soooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo much!! School is work time, home is my time, I dont see why homework is even set anyway, I think its totally unfair. I just refused to do mine, there is no way I am sacrificing my time to do somthing I passionaly hate! Also, stupid coursework drove me up the wall. I was in english and we had to write an essay on the character of romeo (or someone)..... I just thought to my self, why the hell do I have to do this, I have no interest is the subject, its not going to help me in life (awaits your arguments) and it made my life miserable. I had an ipifany (sp?) and just refused to do that too. No wonder I only spent two years at school, it was the worst time of my life ever, school is crap.

ahhh, so thats what it looks like there :P looks ace :P I am suprised you got away with taking those forks on the flight, I thought for sure they would be over the weight limit of the plane :) 1500g!!!!!!!!!!!1 :) your gonna be as strong as an ox when you get back :- I still wanna come out and visit sometime, maybe in winter when theres snow, although it looks a bit rocky to be snow boadring :P

yeah, its just the drawing that has straight edges, if it was made they would all be rounded off. I will deffo see about heat treatment, seems like a good idea

allo I will probably leave it as it is and just run it with normal pads for comps only. I am gonna design more rotors (its fun :turned: ) andI have been told I can have curves in the design :) (although I still recken its the most buitifull rotor ever)
