  11. try and get hight as well as distance, this is how you do a "pinch" gap. You dont go flat, you need to imagian your aiming for a landing slightly higher than where you are going, the upwards motion stops the back wheel from just flicking off the object. dont forget to use that body weight either, use your mometum to get across the gap.
  12. I forgot how good these rims actually are! I am loving mine, I seriously reccomend it to everyone! I ground it last week, its still nice and sharp, I have been riding in the rain a lot these last few days and the back break is still working mint! I also suffered a lot front dents on "normal" rims, I have boshed this rim sooo hard, but not a scratch! I am never gonna use a koxx rim again.
  13. not yet dude, I'll find my dads camera tomorrow (Y) or if chris ratcliff comes on I saw him sneaking some pics of my bike at the brit round, he might have a pic of the wheel.
  14. I have used loads of cables, nokon, xtr, slic, linear slic, flack jackets and to be honest, non of them felt any different to the cheapest bog standard cable from my lbs for £2. just get some cheap cable, squirt some wd40 down and it will be totally fine.
  15. I say pitbull. I didnt get on with high bbs at all, I am now back on a proper frame (control) and am loving it, my ridings much better than when I was on the hi fi. (ps, get a control)
  16. I think the overwhelming responce is going to be get an avif bb7 mechanical disk. They are easily as powerful as a hope mono trial but near fool proff to set up and adjust, dont leak, can adjust lever feel, and you dont have to worry about pulling the lever when the wheel isnt on the bike. I am presuming you have an xtr lever? if so, then all you need to do is buy the avid mech and a cable, that will be about £75, a lot less than your buget. Ps get the 185mm rotor

    Pedals?

the corner of my x pedal snapped off after about 2 months, apart from being a little weak, they are pretty cool. I still use vp pedals, I spent a bit more and got some monty ones, the cages are tougher. I also remove the inner cage, this almost makes them have too much grip!
  18. dont forget the 661 duallys, they are exxelent, great grip, last ages and have DECENT ankle protection.

    Jaw Problems

I get that every time I have been riding, I cant open my mouth and cant take bites outta things, its well annoying. My jaw clicks and moves everytime I open it, its not painful, but can ache sometimes.
  20. the rim is getting built s we speak, I will be using it down in devon so if you fancy a look and ride, just ask.

    Power?

I am pretty sure its all down to technique, they have muscle memory or somthing, so they dont have to think about it so much and it looks easy, they have just done it so much every little movement they make helps with the move.
  22. well, the move when you jump up to front wheel then swap to rear on a wall (some silly people call it a coust hop even though people did it before they put in it some vids) is called a cheeta because the motion of the move is a bit like how a cheeta runs, it puts its front paws out them replaces it with its rear. ace name. if your doing a cheeta onto a skinny object like a rail, then its called a skinny cheeta (Y)
