  1. no, there is a physical bit of metal in the way.
  2. I've been on an Arcade for just under two years now and I've never had it slip or bend or do anything other than tension the chain........winner
  3. That, plus a 4th in Europe, a world championship win and an 8th placing in a UCI World cup round......175s.......175s
  4. It will look waaaay nicer with the longer tube. Frame would be a little stronger with the longer tube. Frame would be a little heavier with the longer tube.
  5. What an awesome trip that was, been to Czech 5 or 6 times now and always had a good time, especially at Dressler camp Pleasantly surprised by the feedback of my riding, I didn't particularly think my riding was all that great so thanks a lot everyone
  6. MY old Global Ti! Sponsors made me give my frame away to some kid from Scotland, little b*****d!

    i'm confused

pretty sure it was put there to make it less likely for the front wheel to come out of the dropout on front wheel moves, not that it's a problem with bolt up hubs.

it's a Pashley fork, they were sold like that for a while

a disc brake will only work on the left rear or right front of a fork leg......think about it.
  10. got back yesterday at 8pm after a 7 hour drive. Had a great time even in the rain on Sat, Was so great to see people so committed to riding that they'd still got out in the wet! Sunday was a lot nicer and the atmosphere was great, everyone was just having a good time. The comps were just the right level of fun and difficulty and it was great to meet everyone! Thanks a lot to Tartybikes (and other sponsors of the event) for all the hard work, it really did pay off and you should be proud you brought back the community feel that I've missed for so long.
  11. One reason being is that to get a high front end we currently use big bars, stems and lots of spacers, an integrated headset would put the stack height lower which would mean more spacers needed which isn't ideal, or a longer headtube which would look a bit weird
  12. since when was 50mm low?
  13. I think it's good as long as I don't have to do it (A)
  14. well unless you plan on riding lots of steep roll downs a slack head angle makes every other move worse.
  15. Awesome riding, but I'd say it wasn't well filmed at all. A lot of shots were shot so tight you can't tell what's really going on and that "steady"cam made me seasick. Shame really as Leo is such a good rider, I'd love to see more videos from him.
  16. you can ride trialsy stuff on any bike, it's the rider not the bike (well, obviously it makes a little difference but I still managed to ride a comp on my very streety 24"), that 24" seems jack of all trades, master of non. 72 degree head angle? What were they thinking? Still like the 26" though, not keen on the bb height though. I'd have liked the seat stays to carry the curve going too.

    Beekeeping

my dad kept bees for about 30 years, had about 7 hives. There's nothing like the taste of your own honey!
  18. getting comp riders to decide 24" streety geo
  19. not so keen on the 24" but I'm not hating that stock waiting for the "worse for sidehops" comments
