Yes but it took someone else to mention that this was a prototype, and it also very much came across (whether you meant it to or not!) that you were letting the world know that Marinos are rubbish. I think what people are finding most shocking about this Damon, is that you sold the other frame Marino sent you (clearly indicating that they were dubious about the strength of this prototype!). If I were the owner/operator of Marino I'd be feeling very very dissapointed with you right now. This is NOT the behaviour you expect of a rider you support! As mentioned above they are produced of CF. It looks to me as if they're produced from thick sheets that have been machined. A bit similar to how brake pads are produced from one big sheet.

Exactly, a design fault should appear in the same place on every component. If it doesn't then you must have quality issues at the manufacturing end (not at all surprising with Deng let's be honest...).

Why has the down tube been so pinched around the fold? Obviously the tube will be pinched exactly on the fold however here it's pinched for a good 2-3 inches up from it as well! Looks like it's been crushed somehow. I'm liking how you managed to twist the back end in the first place though. I too am now interested in what grade Marino uses although it could just be a case of too thin tubing used!

If someone found my wallet and handed it in still with the cash in, I'd want to go and find them and give them the cash as a thanks! Not many people would hand anything in nowadays, they'd just take the cash and dump the wallet... Unfortunately as quoted above there are ungrateful f**kers around and if I found a wallet I'd take a "finders fee" and THEN hand it in just in case they are a tosser.
