i submitted a DV tape i shot at the Abingdon DJ Memorial ride to a friend at the bbc, the clips were shown today at 7 30pm on the BBC Oxford News (anyone see it ? ). The clips might be shown again at 10 25 if your interested and you can get the oxfordshire news. They showed a few clips of bessel and one of porter and said what the ride was about . Nick

yeah cheers Scott, oh no wait i was there... I thought it was a good trial, some sections had massive moves and some were really long which meant you had to really think bout every move and get it done fast and on to the next one. I'm looking forward to the next round now at Portland now Nick

Good weekend of competitions i thought, even though i was knackered on the second day and getting two pinches didn't help either. I thought the sections were spot on in elite on the saturday. Much prefer 3 laps of 6 too. I found 2 mins 30 much more enjoyable for sections and generally think the UCI rules are better. Nick

cheers for the replys. i was running rock pads on a really crap grind in the video. The brake aint the best to be honest, sounds pretty loud but going backwards the brake slipped a bit. I usually run heatsink cousts in a metal backing which work better.
