  1. Well, not quite, but you do have to hit it hard. The protector isn't designed for frames with super thick downtubes, it's for light comp frames (like the Manus). I did test it without the guard (that frame was a write off already - you may be able to see on the video at one point that it's missing a dropout) and it made some reasonable dents, certainly enough to void the warranty.
  2. They will, but not particularly well... you'd have to zip tie it on really.

    Parcelforce

It it's a complete mod and it's inside the UK, that's pretty high. Try interparcel.com and parcel2go.com too.
  4. Grind on a 'trials' bike, no grind on a 'streety' bike.
  5. Oof. Andrea Corr (about 10 years ago) and Christine Bleakley? Yes please!
  6. Yeah, you should... could try the same from the other side too (which is the way I usually do it actually), then you have more axle to get at (if you remove part number 4).

    New Hs33 Brake

We've been told by Magura that they may make a trials specific lever for the brake (so we don't have to use that ugly one, wooo). We're trying to get a sample to test, will let you all know how we get on...

  11. Pretty sure Matt will be able to source that for you On a similar note, I still have a watch that we found in the pile of crash mats/bags first thing Saturday morning (I think some people were jumping from the high bit of the course into the mats on Friday night?). It was announced over the PA on Saturday morning but if it's anyones please contact me with a description of the watch and we'll try and get it back to you!

  21. Don't do any scootering myself, but we we import/distribute the French-ID stuff: http://www.k-124.co.uk/search.php?category_id=41
  22. In theory, I guess so. In practice, it makes a difference. Either way, the statement is still fact.

    Films!?

Watched '12 Angry Men' last night - pretty awesome considering there are only 2 scenes in the whole film!
  24. Nope, same pitch. Same as every bicycle-related chain out there (apart from experimental BMX ones...), so that won't really help much. In terms of chain stretch, Kool chains (710 and 810s) stretch a fair bit more than 510s or 610s. They all stretch a shit-tonne less than half-link chains do, though. We've got a Meta built up here, and with 18:15 the axle's slap-bang in the middle of the dropouts. We've got a Michelin WildRock'r on it which is the same width (62mm) as the RQ, but the RQ is 1mm taller (54mm vs. 55mm). It's pretty tight with the Michelin in there, so I can see how it'd be worse with the RQ, but yeah - it looks like if you could just run a couple of links from an old chain 'til your new chain stretches out a bit - probably after the first few rides - then it should all be fine. We've got some Try-All CNC cams on this build, but they're within the adjustment range of the TRs where the wheel is now. EDIT: This was Mark, not Ads. To the log-out button
  25. Works just the same as a Mono Trial, same sized pistons
