    Axle

There's a few tips and tricks to these things, like everything I guess... Is there any way you can get up to us with your bike? Can show you exactly what to do then, it's a bit complex to try and type out and I don't have any way of getting pictures to try and describe it...

    Axle

Its an Onza T-Pro hub, axles may be available separately from Supercycles, give them a call. Axle being slightly bent wouldn't be the cause of cones coming loose, if it's correctly maintained it will stay tight. I would say it's very unlikely a stronger axle is available also, they are 10mm solid steel... you're doing very well/something wrong if you managed to bend it!
  3. Both currently being worked on/implemented
  4. Spode and Dave of ThinkBikes fame came up today and then we went for a ride in Blackburn afterwards. Quite a few pics cos I was playing with my new camera... Ali working hard (obviously not in Blackburn...) Waddy tap, kept on the concrete Ali wedge to up Spode tap Ali hook... about 58" I think Ali gap down Spode up from bench Ali... endo to off, I think Waddy looking about 6 years old Some... illegal substance users giving Waddy £2 Waddy sidehop to back wheel Ali endo/stoppie to off Waddy tap Waddy tweaked drop The lesser spotted Tart hanging... 5. Main problems: - Time. - Stock changes so frequently it would need updating 2, 3, 4 times a month. Has been thought of, but it's not worth doing at the moment!
  6. Brand new stone cutting disc Diamond discs don't work well for harsh grinds.
  7. Nice one basher! Really good riding, that last line is a monster
  8. The bolts in those hubs (Zoot front hub by the looks of it) are pretty heavily threadlocked in as standard, so it will be faaaairly tricky to get out. Failing that, give Supercycles a shout and they should be able to supply a new axle (easily fitted/removed). Adam

    Brakes....

New pads will make a HUGE difference... something like Plaz CRVs (if you plan to re-grind) or the clear Rock Pads (if you keep your rim as it is) will do nicely.

  12. Nice frame that! Was thinking of doing the same with my head tube gusset but one slip and I'd be right through the downtube... oops! Got a scoop in my BB shell, decided a hole would be too water-y...
  13. Eastern Grim Reaper? Is that a BMX frame? I could... but exactly what you said Haha, I think it would look OK on black rims maybe... might do it if I can be arsed!
  14. Heavier :wink2: haha. It can do, all you need to do is drop the forks out and dry it down though. The frame won't rust because it's aluminium and its anodised.
  15. Just like any other good pad We have some on a bike here with a smooth rim and they work great.
  16. Nice... looks good! Cheers I'd probably actually come down from Chorley on the Saturday morning, it's a right mission from Northampton back up to Matlock! I'm sure we could find each other in Matlock anyway, or somewhere nearby...
  17. Hmm... Just had a look on Multimap, that's a bit too far, sorry Was looking at being no more than an hour-ish south of Northampton if poss, so Oxford is about my limit as I need to be back in Northampton for the evening. Thanks though! Ads: Sounds cool, any pics or anything from there? I've heard about it but never been you see
  18. Hehe, unfortunately not. I'm not 100% on the full process but have a quick google for it, the chemicals used are pretty nasty!
  19. Right, I've got some time to fill on the afternoon of Saturday 1st Sept... looking at riding anywhere between Preston and Northampton, or anywhere within about 50 miles of Northampton providing its good Natural would be best but street if I have to Any ideas? Cheers Adam
  20. So it was you who rang haha. Back Cowm's only open at weekends for future info... But Lee Quarry is also ace and only just round the corner! You have a good day?
  21. How old's the chain? I've set a few of these up with 18... 15 I think (if not it'll be 16) after creating holes for snail cam bolts - they've been great ever since.
  22. I'm talking a couple of microns here... Plus the dipping process strips everything off the frame, including steel helicoils/inserts. A bit of masking tape wouldn't stand a chance!
