  1. So what did we all think then? I'll post something when I've had some tea...
  2. Maxxis wins hands down for puncture resistance, the sidewalls have a nice spongy insert to cushion the tube when you squeeze it against the rim
  3. I agree, a very minor point though I reckon.
  4. Ah cool, sorry, I should have said threadlock, my fault for using a brand name
  5. Its standard practice though - Middleburn cranks come loctited, a lot of bolts come with loctite pre-installed (rotor bolts, hub axle bolts). Loctite isn't a bodge, its essential to the proper function of a lot of engineering products
  6. Has he tightened the grub screw up? Loctited it in? That would solve the 'problem' instantly...
  7. Ahh go on, you know you wanna! Should be about 2 hours for you I think... once you get on the M62/M1 it's a decent run
  8. No - the piston sizes on this brake are identical to an HS33. In fact, because of the slightly longer lever blades, for the same amount of travel at the very end of the blade this system will move the pads slightly less distance (7%). Adam
  9. Oh yeah... cheers Hoeseph Best get to bed soon then!
  10. Just found something else... http://www.bikefestuk.com/index.html (Can book pillion rides on the day) Except she has an exam that day (Yes, a Saturday!)
  11. Its a birthday present for my girlfriend, she can't ride a motorbike so the motocross one probably isn't ideal for her hehe. Thanks for the heads up about that Donington one though, will give the a ring and see if they do the pillion ride separately !
  12. 'Tarty Bike are f**king wank' I think. No idea who Tarty Bike are though...
  13. Done a fair bit of Googling, but can't seem to find anywhere that offers a decent pillion motorcycle ride as one of those 'gift experience' thingies... I have found one which is a 3 hour tour of London on a Harley, but I was more thinking a few flat out track laps. Anyone heard of anything like this, or know where I should be looking? Any help appreciated! Cheers Adam
  14. Any freewheel 'designed' for the front will also work great on the rear. Its pretty much a case of choosing your budget and finding a freewheel that fits inside it - all the trials specific freewheels are very reliable and good value for money. Adam
  15. That setup will go straight onto the V-Brake mount forks Alternatively, you could purchase 4-Bolt forks and 4-Bolt mounts.
  16. The additional parts in the Magura bleed kit are well worth the extra cost - clamping blocks for fitting barked hoses (£8 retail), 50ml Royal Blood (£4 retail), 2.3m of hose (retail approx £6), 6 olives (retail £6), 3 barbed fittings (£3 retail) and a shroud nut (£1 retail). If bought separately, the kit would cost £28 plus syringe, 2 lengths of clear hose and 2 barbed fittings to make the bleed kit up, so I would say it's well worth the cash given the amount of handy spares included.
  17. No probs Ali :wink2: So, which parts on that bike haven't been modified in some way?
  18. New pics: He says: 'It's NOT a Magura!' Ads
  19. Hello everyone, The Echo CNC Rim brake is now available in the UK. Thanks Adam

  23. Awesome Ben, great to see you on a bike again - look forward to more vids
  24. it actually measured 1080 with control forks. I wouldnt be put off by the extra wheelbase,in fact the reach is 10 mm shorter than the normal justice making bunnyhops and streety stuff easier, the only difference is it doesnt turn as quick and its easier for taps and stuff. Ali on adams addy again.
