  1. As Steve said, there's no limit, only that you can only walk out with one complete bike picked from what we have in the warehouse on the day. Stock levels should be good at that time of year due to Christmas Glad you guys like James' idea! Cheers Ads
  2. As suggested by Mr James Porter, we've decided to run a Supermarket Sweep/Willi Wonka's Chocolate Factory type raffle giving everyone who enters the chance to win a custom spec fully built bike! Full details can be found on our website, but in short: Buy a pair of grips for a fiver and you'll be automatically entered into our draw to win a full custom-specced bike! http://tartybikes.co.uk/news.php Good luck! Adam
  3. That's actually the new style axle As others have said, its standard M6 bolts you need. Adam
  4. No, and they are not designed to. The only thing that offers ankle support is an ankle support
  5. I've used one of the hydro ones and it was terrible with a capital terrible - no bite or lock, very wooden at the lever, no feel
  6. Under the lockring - they're pre-load spacers for the bearings.
  7. Just an update: These frames are now in the UK and available for purchase. As you may or may not know, TartyBikes team rider Stan Shaw has signed for Ozonys this season and is riding one of the Cannibal frames. I believe a couple of forum users have already had the pleasure of having a quick play on his bike too. Cheers Adam
  8. Initial prices are £575 for the 26" and £435 for the 20", these are still to be confirmed. The original T1000 frame will also still be available at a reduced price of around £365. Cheers Adam
  9. Unsure about the red ones - will have to see what turns up! Hub shell is on the way, hopefully here tomorrow, Hope have been a bit slow with our order this time, sorry!
  10. The little grub screws in the end caps are just there to stop them falling off, there's no major function for them. Monty Snail Cams due back in stock early next week Adam
  11. Where did you buy it from Dave? They shouldn't have been sold yet - all the ones we have are being returned and swapped due to a fault in the first batch. The design, manufacturing tolerances and materials quality of the Echo is on a par with the White Industries.
  12. That's exactly what I do with mine on the drive side (looks like a Monty 221 Pr frame you have there?) - works a treat On the disc side though you're best off leaving the snail cam on the outside (just slip it over the axle before tightening the bolt down) for 2 reasons: The serrated axle end bites into the frame better than a flat plate of alloy, thus keeping your wheel in place; and if you put a spacer (snail cam) between the axle end and the frame you'll mess up the spacing between your disc mount and disc rotor. Both the Monty and Try-All snail cams will work great with that frame. The axles on the Monty 221 Ti rear disc hubs have shoulders for the bearings to sit on, so everything looks to be in order in that aspect (no need to tap the axle in/out/shake it all about). The axles do stick out of the end caps a little more on that hubs than others though so it can look like the axle may be dislodged. Hope that helps Adam
  13. The OS115 isn't available in 110 x 17 as far as I know... only 120 x 17 and then 6 degree in other lengths
  14. Haha, that would be awesome... if a bit scary Christmas Raffle plans are almost sorted
  15. Hmm, I don't really like riding by myself. Done it a few times but I just get bored really easily...
  16. £14 from Lidl, get in haha We have a headset press too
