Gusset stuff is more aimed at the 'heavy duty' end of the market, and most of the parts you've mentioned (bars, stems, forks) aren't particularly trials-specific. Its dependable kit at a decent price though.

Like Lee said, get in touch with Supercycles. The use of an Echo bashring would require a fixed sprocket, however, you may not have enough thread in that case.

Yeah, it's only (significantly) cheaper IF you have threaded cranks. Certainly a viable option even if you don't.
Danny's lockring came loose, leading to that accident. He's not really sponsored by King as far as I'm aware, just got a deal on a couple of headsets.
I think using a front freewheel is more down to the 'fashion' in UCI.
