  1. I don´t know if it´s appropriate, because I also don´t know him, but: Best wishes from me! get well soon!
  2. I´m no fan of brakeless riding - but this vid is one of my favourite ones of all times...
  3. she has :$ forgot about that one:
  4. yesterday my gf and me wanted to go rockclimbing but weather looked rainy; me: single malt and porn? her: we are together for one year now and i have never seen you ride that bike - i could take pics me: so cloudy, bad light, my back hurts, very dangerous when it rains... she won. was her first time shooting something moving and also first time with a flash; pics were taken in one and a half hour with my D40 before the rain came... (perfect face-expression was my goal in every shot) preload - "Blue Steel" gap, also made it from first step, but no pics of it... sidehop from the lowest step - nearly made from the ground afterwards tap "Le Tigre" sidehop to rear from little rock on the right outer edge up to front gap to front (looks way to easy in the pic) "Magnum" side... gay emo-boy waiting for the rain to stop
  5. Anyone out there who owns one would give a review? I´m mainly interested in puncture resistance - especially compared to a DK and RQ. I never flatted a DK, if braking a spoke on a failed sidehop which puntures the tube doesn´t count... I flatted the RQ 2.2 too often, but haven´t had major problems with the RQ 2.4 (these apex-inserts seem to do their job...) - a flatted tube every now and then... The other very important point is folding - does it fold more than the standard sticky? and also compared to DK - which may be the best tyre out there concerning that (apart from RK)... RQ 2.2 was good at not folding too much; RQ 2.4 needed a lot of air to make slanted rocks a pleasure...
  6. I often thought about that myself; as the HiFi was the worst (really!) bike i have ever touched and my current Hydroxx LT is the best (pure trials) bike I have ever had... edit: and with a new chain my chainstays are more 377ish than the theoretical 379...
  7. me likes! perfect geo for me... cs with 18:15 = 379
  8. 71,5 with a 45 rake fork - should feel horrible? or do the smaller wheels compensate a little? how do you measure the ha? Do you really measure it, or do you measure the wb, reach and do the maths?
  9. If someone is in the need of brand new TryAll single cage pedals for a reasonable price pm me
  10. I have 2 months old in 44 for a decent price
  11. My shoes keep wearing very fast. I´m interested in buying the Davos sole and have a cobbler repair them. I´m really into real trialsshoes (Monty, Ribo etc - also they all look aweful) - skate shoes just don´t do the trick for me... Anyone know where to get this sole? Or do you have other ideas of repairing them? Does Shoe Goo, like skaters use help to not just put something together but replace parts of the sole? my shoes look like this like in two or three months of riding: - one or two months later the sole is dead while the rest of the shoe is still in mint condition...
  12. got the complete bike, but changend all parts with them from my old bike - which is for sale - here; spec: the usual "I´m getting 30 years old soon, so don´t let the bike stop my awesome progress"-setup including: - single wall TT rims, DT Revos, DT Alloy nipples - TA rear hub with 12.9 bolts to be able to tighten them better; rear wheel x 2 to be able to ride a light tire and a Der Kaiser, depending if i ride natural or hit the city without the need of putting the tire of the rim... - ti-wellgos on TA cranks and TA bb - ENO, 510HX, 1/8" surly - 04 Maggie t-blade, water bleed, TNN powered - Louise FR with Shimano lever (the few who know...) - TT bars (like the geo of the TA rage 08 much more but don´t trust them strength wise) - Tarty stem (in the pic it´s a procraft) - ck headset
  13. Hello pootin! Where in Austria do you live now? I think i know most riders in Austria - so give a shout where you are and i will give you some numbers I´m located in Graz - we are nearly 10 riders here;
  14. hmm - that´s right on the other hand... would have loved to hear something different, but to be true i didn´t expect anything else...
  15. thanks for that point - which i forgot in my little novel; since i got my Echo TR snails (with the small teeth), i don´t want to consider that anymore - setting up chain tension with them is so easy and nice... wouldn´t you be afraid that one halflink could snap?
  16. I got my new Hydroxx LT and i love it! but due to its very high bottom bracket (55 mm) the usual 18:15 379mm deal is a bit aggressiv. I tried 18:15 391 and with the TNN brake clamps and a super brand new chain it seemed to work - but chains stretch, so... thats not going to happen... So it should be 384 with 17:14; CK in the rear is history - which would have been the most easy way... but: not going back from FFW ever... I`m running an ENO trial at the moment, so my thought was, just buing the 17 outer teeth from WI and putting it on my ENO trial internals - voila everything is easy - at least i thought that; to make sure this works i asked at WI and they told me it just doesn´t hold up! They told me the trials internals would put more stress on it and it would fail quite fast - i don´t get the physics behind that, but i kind of belive them to know about their product... and running a normal ENO 17 tooth with 36 engagement points is something i don´t want to consider... So my first real question is: Has anybody done this (ENO trials internals with 17 outer teeth ) before? if yes - how did it work? and has anyone used the 17 tooth ENO as it comes for trials - if yes how did it hold up confronted with what riding style? next possibility: running a half link; I`ve seen it on Stan Shaw`s (feel free to answer!) bike , but i kind of just don´t dare... how would it hold up, if standard half-link chains tend to let their owners face die? I´m running Z510HX chains (1/8") btw with a 1/8" cog on the rear; I would consider myself as being hard to my drivetrain - i change chains a least every three months... So, second question: how do the chains of halflink-users hold up? please with riding style, weight, chain used, and if chain is used till it snaps and so on... and now something I´m also far away from being comfortable with - the TryAll 17 teeth FW; I don´t trust them. I got my Hydroxx as a complete bike, but didn´t even think about keeping that freewheel (18t) - it feels just cheap and i have heard a lot of bad things about them - well that was about the 18t version; 17t can only be worse? I still remember the (short) time when Vincent tried to run 16:14 with the TA freewheel - everyone remember it exploding during the comp? So, any 17:14 users with the TA fw (Hydroxx II was delivered this way i think) out there? How did it work -also please with riding style, weight... Any other thoughts about this little problem? (to all the "just go out, ride your bike and have fun - that´s it all about"-trials-emo-fags: i do that, i love it, but it´s the same with riding a girl - i want maximum pleasure while doing it...)
  17. are you also looking for a cheap 36 hole TryAll H135 hub by any chance - if so fell free to pm me
  18. thanks for the super fast answer! - no matter if mail or forum - you are so faaaaaaaaast! ok, with 71.0 and 1095 the reach must be quite short for such a long bike... I would have wished it was a little shorter with a little more ha :-/
  19. could you please measure the exact geo, as depending on various sources it´s 1085 (with 35mm ralke), 72 (which i also would appriciate compared to 71,5), 380 and +45 or +55 - which makes a big difference to me...
  20. wait there must be something wrong - this looks like a real bike!? AWESOME!!!
