Right people i am looking at a new bike maybe and was looking at a monty. Just wanting to hear from people with experiences with montys -Have you had one crack or snapp? -Or have a mates? Only reason i ask is because a mate of mines ti cracked. Thanks

Yer thats what i thought. Left it out side the college main enterance thinking some 1 would always be around there is CCTV and people walking in and out all the time but obviously these things didnt put these 3 scum off having ago and successing. I guess i just lernt the hard way. People learn from my mistake Thanks

Cheers Mark Seen you put it in the stolen bikes thread. Yer this is exactly why i put the video on the net to show people how easy it is to get away with someones bike. The lock i used was pretty beefy but obviously not enogth to stop people these days. So make sure you use a reallllllly good lock of even better dont lock your trials bike sup on show kee it with you . I know i certainly wont ever lock mine up again in Plymouth or any other big city ( liskeard is fine cornish are to dumb )

Each to their own i guees i just think it looks sort of lame. espcailly is they are used to grind or watever the bike just looks to big and doesnt have style. But thats just my opionion cheers

Yer i think i sort of know him i havnt riden with him yet but i did see him and talked to him and his mate. Yet to meet them to ride with them

This was the first time i have left it there I left it theres because i thought it would be safe because of the CCTV and also its a college and there is pretty much someone walking in our out the whole time. But obviously there wasnt this time wont be left there again and it was a thick chain but obviously any bike chain can be cut nowerdays so i will use a D-lock next time but i wont be leaving it there. Yer the caretaker said they havnt had any ikes nicked in a long time because they have had the cctv instailed out there. but they probally just fancied their chances. cheers

Yer i was using a lock that was made by Raleigh. Wasnt a D-lock btu was ment to be strong but obviously not.

Copy and paste the url into your browser doesnt work because there is a gap in the video name didnt realise until i had uploaded it. But copy and pasting into your browser will make it work. Yer they just cut the lock off looks like they have cutters in that big green bag an dthats where they put my lock as well. P.S It was an Echo Team 04.

Hey wasn't to sure on where to stick this post but i am sure if its in the wrong place some 1 will move it for me. Right so i went to college this morning with the intentions of going riding in Plymouth after college. So i locked up my bike outside P.C.A.D ( Plymouth College of Art and Design ) at 8:45 using the bike rails and a decent bike lock. ( well i thought it was decent ) 1 hour later the thieving so 'n' so had taken it. But this ain't no normal stolen bike thread this has a specail suprise luckily the college had CCTV filming the area so you can watch how easy it was for them to just walk away with my bike. So remember to lock your bikes up nice and secure. LINK Thanks

Haha thats is unlucky. Down here the shops/police aint really that switched on my mate had fake ID and was drinking in a pub the police came in for a spot check asked him for Id and they took it. Looks nothing like anything officail Id card. Hope nothing happens

Yer i do have the same sort of problem i ended up really tired quicker than normal. Also my fingers get cold espcailly the braking finger meaning i cant grip the brake lever as well as i would like to. This means i dotn have as much convidence in my brake as i should. I also find because there is parts of my body that arnt as well rapped up my body is trying to warm up but my back and arm pit areas are boiling. dam winter
