I took my time setting that shot up, did everything by the book to make sure it came out how I wanted it. It's five shots stitched together manually in Photoshop, each shot taken with the exact same exposure in manual mode after metering the whole scene and taking an average... Just to make sure it all matched up while facing the sun and to get a good balance. Polarising filter too to keep things nice. Shots were taken in quick succession to make sure that the lighting didn't change as the clouds moved by, also spent a while making sure the tripod was dead level so that the pan head could be moved accurately at speed. It's Llangorse Lake, Mid Wales. Just to the right of the hut you can see Pen-Y-Fan and Corn Du, the former being the highest mountain in Southern Britain. God I'm a nerd.
