  1. This couldnt have been a better ride. Day starts, 11am, Guild Hall Square in the pouring rain. No one seemed to down harted, as almost everyone was still riding. The usuall warm ups and slips on wet walls. We then Move in for the Group Photo. After that, more riding in the wet. A few of us move just aournd the corner to a small wall/ledge under the bridge. Brendan tries to Pick the wall, but his Race Face cranks snap, and he chins the wall, need 4 stiches. Great thanks to Andy P for all the driving he did. We wait around at this ledge for about 2 hours, and almost every riders ends up down there. Very small spcae, lots of riders. So after we have sorted out Brendan, hes at Hospital, and his bike is safe in Andys Car, we move on to a set of flower boxes on some grass. Sidehops, picks, gaps, everyone is enjoying themselfs. Poor old Hobbsie stacks and hurts his leg trying something strange, im sure he didnt even know what was going on. Scott Pitcher does a very impressive Gap, to pick and its not small. Starting on a kurb sized wall, and gapingabout 4ft to a 3ft wall, and picking it. Matt Stapples doing some funky spin gaps, and some Large sidehops were the order. Dan Climbing trees aswell. We move on to a block of flats, we again, scott impresses all with a sidehope from a concrete pipe to a large wall, 2 wheeled. Everyone is Gapping and having a laugh. Brendan Returns from hospital. Next place, the historic dock yard, where there are some anchors and walls. ride there for a while then we all meet up un the seafront for the 2 minutes scilence. After Paying our respects, we begin to ride again. Matt stapples doing a large static gap to a rail, Tim and Jon going off on a sign, and all sorts of moves. Brendan leaves us at this point, to go and buy cranks. We move to the harbour station, were there is a nie wall, and some more gaps. A large crowd of foreign students cheering on as Jon Shrewsbury, Matt stapples, and Scott large it up. Next stop is The seafront, where brendan returns, and we all have a bit of a chilled ride on some small blocks. Moved on to spice Island, where Andy P, Nick Manning, Matt Stapples, Scott Pitcher, Andy Chai are backwheeling a nice large gate post. Everyone is gapping and droping, and still enjoying themselfs. Moved on to the "saluting platform" where Fletch is doing an insane rail drop, and going bigger each time. Matt is hooking some large walls, and there are more gaps than a, errrr, place with alot of gaps. Charlie has a nasty stack, which costs him the use of a finger, a chain, and a front wheel. We go on to more hooking and throwing stones at posts. Next, the much needed stop at subway. Lots of food consumed. Moving on to the Pyramids Jon seem like a kid in a candy store. He cant stop finding lines, and nailing them. the night is drwaing to a close, its about 9.30pm, and Nick, Matt, Bren, Tim and Fletch are hooking a massive wall. almost everyone nails the 54" hook, but no, thats not good enough, Nick has to go and backwheel it....... then to take the piss more, he almost backwheels 56". We move on to Johns house for beer and merryment. Within moments of arriving, chai is passed out on the floor, and Jon is riding drunk. Then Matt has the good idea of trashing my car with his bike. Tim falls of his bike, and he wasnt even drinking. The rest of the night is filled with laughter, jokes, throwing cans at chai, covering his face in stickers and shaving his head. so well decide that at about 3am Andy Chai isnto going to wake up whatever we do, and we have run out of things to throw at him, so everyone drifts off to sleep. In the morning, we have a "healthy" breakfast, which for Matt, Andy, Simon and a few others, consisted of Doughnuts and coke. All in all, a rather amusing day Thanks to: Andy P Charlotte, for use of her car, Jon Chubb, for use of his crib All the riders for coming, and making this a good day. Most of all, Rest In Peace DJ, you are allways in our thoughts, you shall never be forgotton.......
  2. Never a better word spoken. I think we should all read this, and take insipration from it. We are all going for one purpose, and thats to remember a trials Elgend, DJ (Y) Lets make this one ride we will never forget, just like we shall never forget him.
  3. Yes its still 11am, Portsmouth and southsea Station. And to all those who are going to the after party. Lets hope to see some damn good drunken antics, Stapples, im looking your way. Drinking contest anyone? (Y)
  4. Im in, ive wanted to do this for years. So thats 1. That reminds me, id better apply for a new passport :S
  5. OK, got to work today, fine. Then some wanker parks accross the workshop doors, and blocks the workshop. Do these nobs not think, ah this isnt a parking space, ill move to somewhere that is. So after having to find the keys and move it, I get back to work. I go to wash my hands, only to find some lazy fanny has used the last of the towel and the soap. So now I have to go and find a new towel, and instal it, and replace the soap in the disppenser. Back to work. I go home. Now I live in a Cul-de-sac, and we have a layby on the side for parking. There is just enough spaces for all our cars. But no, the fat reatrd who lives 3 dorrs down deicdes she wants to park across 3 spaces, the last 3 spces there, so Now I have to park up the road, on a feild. AHHHHHHHHHHH Thats anoyed me. So I go in the house, and Give my Mum her Birthday presents. Now I need to shit. So I go upstairs and sit on the Throne. After droping the kids off swimming, I turn to the wall, to find that someone has used the last of the bog roll, and left the empty tube on the holder. WILL THIS WORLD NEVER SEE HOW f**kING LAZY ITS GETTING????
  6. I got pulled for driving a car with No exhaust through a Quite country Village at 11pm. I only got a warning, was worth it :S If you dont drive like a willy, you wont get pulled...................

  9. I Live in Worthing, and ride Brighton sometimes. Most Riders avoid Brighton that day, for obvious reasons.
  10. DJ - Sorted. Dont worry your pretty little heads about it........
  11. Yo Sam, I shall Lend a Hand if one is needed. Let me know if you want me (N)
  12. Jon invited me up on the Friday Night, dont know if I should or not............... It could be fun. thats not your problem, what would they do if you couldnt make it for a genuine reason? Its their responsibility to have a back up. Any way, im not trying to convince you to jeperdise your job.,
  13. I think about things like this all the time. Why do I spend so much time and money on a bike? Why do I like Old cars? Why do I listen to Hardcore/Metal? It gets me thinking, what if............. What If I was a Chav What if I was into drugs and smoking What if I ended up with that Girl What If I had made that decision. When I have the time to look into it I realise. I do these things becuase there was a reason for it at the time. ie: I started riding because I enjoyed it. I lost the Girl because......... ect. What would happend if I had........... Then I came to this conclusion. Its the what ifs that kill you.
  14. Solution - Dont Bother Going to Work. "Sorry, cant make it in today. im sick"
  15. Yea, thats the shit right there. Thats done the trick nicely, Ta Muchley.................
  16. nice one Urban mammoth. Ill give that a shot.
  17. Yea we all know itunes sucks. i want a way of doing it without itunes if possible. I have managed to access the music on the ipod, but its in 52 different folders, each with about 6 random songs in. So getting the songs I want will take forever. I want to know if there is a quick way
  18. yea why not, Make a Ride in Hastings. Dates and times on a postcard.
  19. Does anyone know how to do this? I think Ive found a way, but this gives me about 50 folders, with the songs mixed up, and about 6 per forlder. I would like to know an easy way of extracting music from my I-pod, to my PC. This is music I have got from a friend
  20. is it any good? thought about venturing that way a few times, but havent yet
  21. Basicly as you come in from the M27, you will come to some roundabouts. Follow the signs for City Centre. And then Follow signs for station, if I rember correctly. The station isnt far in from the M27. If you want free parking, you will see a BP, with a Sainsburys behind it, park there, station is just along the road. Or if you reach the station, there is a car park behind it, that costs money......
  22. Yea but then if we all counted the days and weeks we have off from riding trials, most of us would only have been riding about 2 minutes. I could make you a long list of injuries, and other things that have made me stop riding trials, but then I wont.
  23. Does this mean your ugly everywhere else? Sorry, couldnt resist. Im not saying that all halfords staff know nothing, its just that 90% of them cant even PDI bikes properly, let alone fix one. And lets face it, ICE isnt the hardest thing in the world to do, especialy at halfords Level. Sure you can go into ICE proper, and get cable amperage correct and watt levels all spot on, but then halfords dont do that, and If somoene wants a Decent Instal, they go to a speacialist that does this kind of thing. Halfords is good, If you drive a Nova on Ripspeed 19"s, and an off the shelf ICE instal that sounds like your car is going to colapse. I have on rare occasions seen People in Halfrds Bike hut shirts, that do know what they are doing, but most decent Bike mechainics move on from there, and work in a proper bike shop where they arent limited to halfords ruling.
  24. I started Late. I was 16 when I found biketrials. 16th Febuary, 1999, 10.30 am :P thats when I went and bought My first "trials" bike. 99 Kona Hahhana............... Im now 21, theres a scary thought for you........................
