  1. arr noticed i am partial to the odd wheel swap here and there, have you.. :">
  2. about 1.4 miles takes 10 mins to ride/push,, some of it is steep... come out of the train station, ride down the hill on the road,,followdown into the park and over the bridge,,this leads to the funny lumpy skatepark,,ride that quikly cos its a good laff.. then facing the chippy over the road , go left up the road,,go past the playground then follow a little path up into and through the woods,(this goes along side the tramline) then go up the road a little from the path and its on your left.. job done ! i know u didnt ask for directions as well ,, lol but just though it might be handy.. iolo
  3. glad to see im getting through to people with my stupid names for moves haha
  4. any ideas to when it will be buyable ???
  5. yeah most people call them wheelswaps,, and a few including me call them pigions.. either will do.. JUST gotta love this trick !! iolo
  6. ok, everyone MUST learn this move its my favorite,, I absolutly LOVE it!!! its real handy on natural and comp stuff to.. and it can go pretty big on rails, ect.. on street.. ok so get your front wheel up there however you like.. get sorted,, then with out any pedaling just jump your body up and pull your bike up,, its just brite force,, there is no pedaling technique at all.. instead the technique is all in the body preloading and trying to get balanced with your front wheel so high,,make sure you twist you biek so your back pedal side is to the obsticle.. GO FOR IT !!! the move can be done sideways,, and landed like a tucked up sidehop as well. setting up go go go ! i used to pedal back in the day,, but it really is impossible on higher things. you may find that some objects are too small to do without pedaling, and you nose dive on landing, just go bigger ! hope this helps.. iolo .
  7. nope,, dont quit... i love riding winter..either just ride the cold dryish street days,,, or i find that trials can be so hard in winter its fun to go all out.. like riding up rocky, mossy, slippery rivers, whilst its snowing, now thats fun..

iv just posted in the other topic,,,,so iv copied and pasted this,,, ...... ...... i think this was the best event i EVER have been to. !!! was good to meet up with riders i dont see that aften and should see more of,, and was brilliant to meet so many new riders that i only knew from this forum...like.. will arnold, ben(heatsink teammate) and all the scotish riders, who were really good. everyone who was on both street rides made them unbelevably GREAT! me, kyle, and ali C and a few others did an unofficial street demo on a few rails, a gap ect.... it was SOOOO good, (sat night) after that we met up with lots of others at a load of loadsing bays and i learnt vertical hooks from pedaling! and actually did a good sidehop ! lol.. as for the sections,,,, the natural river ones were soo good,, challenging yet just do-able.. i loved em..! the 2 log sections were excellent,(thanks to mick for using a gallon of fuel in a chainsaw!!!) and the speed section was one of the best ideas EVER!! i loved it,, added such a great new angle to the comp!.. unfortunatly i was playing on joe oakleys bike on sunday morning and twisted my ankle really badly,, and although i was onlt having a little mess about ive really hurt it,, and it made accelerating my car for almost 10 hours fukin painful ! thanks to all of the organisers....observers, and of course the UCI DH worldcup for having us,, i think we mave the world of XC and DH an brilliant impression of trials.... sorry to ramble of,, but it really was a good weekend.!
