yea deff learn it on a hill. easier. and a nice progressive front brake helps obviously. dont use a front maggy with tar ! haha and remember you gotta go over the bars more than you want to at first. iolo.

i would get a duel ply tyre. and sounds like your better off with the standard chain.

hope its all ok etc,, my first time using vimeo unfortunatly i cant afford a big camera at the moment, so i just used my little digi cam. so the quality cud be better, especially in slow mo. but never mind. it aint so bad. thanks to will and matt and the twigs and leaves at koxx days for holding the camera. amazing trip this year !!! ok basically i got dumped a little while ago this now means the only thing keeping me where i am is my job. im going to quit within 2-3 months, just got a bit bored with it. i have some savings nothing massive, but about £2k hopefully £3k ish by the time i leave work. not that the money i have really affects where to go much. by the time i leave work, i should have a good bike mechanic qualification and be quite well qualified to lead xc bike rides. now i have some ideas, but i could do with suggestions.... i might go to vancouver/whistler area in canada and ride DH lots as well as trials. maybe work fixing bikes ?? or leading freeride kinda stuff ?? i might go to nothern spain, (i can speak spanish ok ish) and look for some work leading xc trip and stuff...or mending bikes again. not very bike related, but i really fancy going somwhere really random... india or sumthing, and buying a motorbike and riding about for a month ????? or maybe africa ?? travel round france-spain-italy etc.. in my mates massive camper van, doing kinda trials demo busking ??? or wait for my mate to save up a bit, and then do a massive touring bike ride somewhere ace and strange for about 2 months.? give me some ideas guys !! im not bothered about going to 'dodgey' countries i dont mind if some things scare the hell out of me i would like to ride trials lots,, if theres no trials involved then i would probably just go away for 1month-6weeks for accomodation im well up for arriving sumwhere and living like a tramp till i can buy a van to sleep in or sumthing. i have friends i can stay with for a bit near whistler. inspire me ! iolo.

well impressed !! you look loads more controlled on a big bike ! ACE !!!!! really suits you. loved it ! on the taps, you seemed to be doing fine, if anything, hit it lower and hit it a harder. dont worry about going over the bars, big wheels love wacking into stuff. !

i like the look of the frame, colours aint great iv never ever been keen on the idea of bolting a rear wheel in with 2 little M6 bolts just not enough for my liking i LOVED wacking a pair of big 10mm bolts into my old pro2 and i currently run a mod stock with the black echop fixed hub, which again comes with hollow 10mm bolts. i know alot of people used the little m6 things, but thats usually with a stub on the axle end. i dont like the idea that in 2 of the positions the frame will be kind of trying to guilatine the m6 bolt off on a big dropoff would have been better to MAYBE just have long slotted vertical dropout for any hub, and a pair of good snail cams to choose axle height in the frame. hmmmmmmm excited to have ago on stans when he gets it though iolo. what if for using the lower 2 axle holes it came with little machined bits that slotted in and were held with a bolt through the top hole a short pair for middle hole use, and a longer pair for lower hole use. just to support the hub as if it were in the top one. this kind of shape pahhhh drawing with type messed up !! ignore PLEASE PLEASE excuse me being so lazy that i havnt even used paint to draw that !!! haha
