  8. WAIT ! i have it !! ages ago in an evans catologe there was.... a steer tube extender !!!! was a piece of ALU the same diameter as the steer tube, but has a small end which pushed into your fork, then an allen key which expanded the small end in your fork, and locked it in there. (then you stem when on it.,or half on it) search, or ring Evans iolo.
  9. i REALLY wouldnt weld them, they WILL break. bad luck mate ! ask of he can put a little tube inside as well and weld it all together, but they will still break, will last longer though. sry mate iolo.
  10. hehe kk, cheers for the info william ! chat me soon yeaa iolo
  11. real good mate ! well done. nick is right, i too am scared of flash sites, they can be slow loading and mess everything up ! your site rocks !!! big well done ! see you soon !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! iolo.
  12. hmm i was thinking about this. could possibly make a hub take bigger bearings and then make an axle. for M8 or even better pro2 style M10 hmmmmmmm maybe the T master is modifyable iolo
  13. ye good point. but bmx hubs are 36 and dont ever seem to be 32. i could always buy a new rim. but bmx race hubs are a bit heavy too, a solid steel axle ect.. doesnt help. this looks ok http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.dll?Vie...atchlink:top:uk no idea of weight though. hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm iolo.
  14. i love it and i would use it ! BUT !!!!!!! its not a sticky enough compound to bother with at all. the slicks i use on my street bike (and trials bike sumtimes) are a old maxxis and a front try all. both made perfectly slick with a grinder. these work SOOOOOOOOOO well on street, even in the wet, they are WAY WAY better than normal tyres on walls and rails ect.. but the compound is v important. ar well iolo
  15. is the echo fixed screw on with disk mount one any good ??? bearing ok ????? seems gd weight ! and has slightly better bolts iolo
  16. i cant find what i want quite ! all the deng mod hubs are either mini cassete freewheels or fixed hub with a deng cog. i dont want a profile, and i defff dont want a king. i just really want to get a rear hub that i can screw an eno onto ! the onza T master is the best iv found yet ! its light cheap and good bearings, BUT its got rubbish little bolts !! M6 ! and im not too keen on that ! i will either snap the bolts, or the wheel will budge. any suggestions ? im gonna look at more monty hubs now. cheers iolo.
  17. vinces power vinces technique some good TGS / dropgap english balls rossi's switch footness goust bros gaps/taps bounce of a monty mod rider my pigions nick G's balance and that foregn monty street riders bunnyhop (no idea of name) and Ali C's beard type thingy yep ! iolo.
  18. i have a street bike built up, it basically all my old bits and i ride it brakeless. and i LOVE IT ! it was an old monty Xlite 26" but that largly cracked from brakeless taps and using walls to endo. so now its an old base ta26 (the bash gaurd one) personally i loved the feel of the monty more, the only real difference was that the monty was -40mm bb roughly but for street that was ace ! get something cheap , a base is a good option still, and pretty available. go for it. iolo.
  19. im with that oppinion., x iolo.
