avid bb7 up the front and avid SD5 with spanish fly's at the back. Cables rock, I like them much better compared to maguras, although the spanish fly's are lacking a bit of power. Should be fixed when I get some CRV's and avid ultimates.
i think your talking about this?
If you are then they are made by jagwire and can be bought from trialsinshop , LBS might have some though as they aren't really a 'trials' product. I've also heard that you can make your own but i'm not to sure how.
yeah I had no problem with my mavic rim still going strong but i was looking for something a bit wider plus i wanted another wheelset for my other bike.
yes the kingpin is available in 24" in the picture above the smaller rim is the 24".
^^^^I was considering them as they are pretty cheap and seem to be strong but 48mm is too wide for my liking. I think I'll give the kingpin a try then if I can get them, should I be worried that its a pinned rim ? I've only ever had welded.
nope they aren't ceramic sidewalls, i think only mavic do them. They are just machined i think so no its not a disk only rim either. Definitely v brake compatible.
Sun Kingpin: a beefier rhyno lite ?? looks pretty nice, 34mm, pinned. Anyone had any experiences with this rim?

so if I have a 8 speed cassette and use the 19T for trials and 13T for a getting around gear, can this be adjusted to switch between those two gears ? or do I have to have two individual rings ?
Was browsing through thetrialsinshop.com and found this:
Jagwire barrel adjuster shifter - Do you want to get rid of that heavy shifter on your bar or seattube? These tiny barrel adjusters work great and mount almost anywhere
I've always wanted to get rid of my shifter but I wanted to keep my gears, so does this give me a full range of gears? and how do they work ?
Any help would be splendid !!
thanks alot guys and cheers for the tips. Pushed my bars foward today and felt much much better :$. I will definitely be using CRV's when I get my ultimates and I might grab some nokon housing along the way too :ermm:
looking for a wider rim and came across the syncros DSP. Meant for DH/freeride, 32mm wide, looks to have a braking surface and comes in sweet white. You think it's worth a try ? anyone use these rims?
Thanks for all the comments. I've been meaning to get get a new cassette for ages but I felt that other parts were more important so its kinda been pushed down the 'to buy' list. It will definitely be the next thing i buy though. Regarding the booster I don't really feel any flex at the moment, felt heaps with maguras but its not too bad with the v's. I'm getting ultimates soon so it should be even stiffer.
mash65 My seat is a BBB which is almost exactly the same as the serfas but with chromo rails. It's still pretty light and it cost less so I choose the BBB. I'm not sure if you can buy it from the UK (i'm from Aus) but here's the link: BBB
