  1. What importing company you work for ? Basically echo, zoo ,czar all the deng products are already imported by biketrialsaustralia.com and koxx/try all mainly by Ribbed. There used to be a importer for BT but I think there isn't anymore so BT might be an option. I think Onza is definitely a good option they make pretty awsome stuff and we could do with more choices. Also maybe ashton ? worth a try. Oh and heatsink, monty and aorta are already covered too. Anyways good to hear more importers are getting in trials stuff good luck with it.

    Bmx Questions

I'm thinking about getting a bmx as I'm getting a bit bored with trials, need something different. I've never really ridden Bmx seriously only mucking around with my friends bike. So I basically have no idea about anything to do with BMX like geometry, brakes etc. Would you be able to recommend a good starter bmx for street/park kinda riding ? would it be better to get a complete, 2nd hand, or build one custom ? Also why do the majority of BMX'ers run only a rear brake ? Sorry for the newb questions but any help would be great thanks!!
  7. When you go be sure to check out these guys Link they have great prices on trials parts and they are trials riders themselves so they'll probably be more than happy to give you info on rides etc. They speak pretty good english too.
  8. It can be done and it has been done before. A guy from Australia had a disk mount welded onto his BT and it worked pretty good, the only thing was the mounting holes deforming or something like that, which he said could of been avoided if there were brass fittings ?? I can't remember clearly but it was along those lines. We have a place www.gripsport.com that does it. He also adds extra gussets to prevent any snapping. It cost us about $200 AUS for it to be done and painted as well, you can see pictures in the gallery from the website. If you can find someone like this to do it for you I reckon you shuld give it shot.
  9. so this will not be available overseas ?

    My Ride

looks awsome whats the geometry ?
  11. lol love the porn folder.....cool skin thingy for windows too where did you get it from ?
  12. I just got an email from CRC saying that the Pro II singlespeed is the same hub as the Pro II T, is this true ?
  13. Thanks alot for the reply's everyone getting a pretty good idea for geometry now. I think I'm going to stick with 26". Ali C can I ask why specifically +18 bb on the 24" ?
  14. yeah good point you made but its going to be pretty hard to find a steel frame that can have a seat and v brake mounts without going custom. But your exactly right I don't want to waste my money by choosing the wrong geometry. I used to ride a norco moment and that was pretty good for bunnyhops, I think it had a 1010 WB, 400 CS, 0 BB rise. I then got an echo pure 1085 so I don't really have alot of experience with frames. Which is why I need some help with it. I think in terms of WB, 1030 sounds pretty nice not too short. CS probably 385mm, BB rise might go for 20mm, and head angle 72 or 73. Sounds like a shorter ashton justice . Would that be good? or would a even shorter WB be better. Basically I want to be able to bunnyhop, manual and spin like techy stuff but also incorporate some trials into as well. Oh and Mat cheers for the offer but I'm afraid I would have to fly over to be able to try your bike, I'm from Australia.
  15. well I ride a pure now and I'm kind of bored it plus its too long for me. I guess you can say I want to do some bunnyhops, manuals, spins etc. What would be good geometry for that kind of riding for a 26" ?
  16. So basically I'm getting a new frame, most likely from Iolo, and will be riding more streety style with it. But i don't know what is best 24" or 26". Is a 24" much better at riding street than a 26" or will a 26" be just as good given the right geometry. Its just that if I get a 26" I'd save alot of money as I don't need new wheels, tyres etc. I hardly ride natural, like maybe 3 times a year at most. I've never ridden a 24" before so I don't know how they ride but watching videos they seem very at home on the streets but then again videos like do the goon show that a 26" can be good too. So yeah what do you think ? Cheers
  17. looks awsome, the geo isn't exactly the same as the ET is it ? did the ET have a longer seat tube ?

    Win My Bike!

congratulations on winning the money....I'll guess Ethan
  25. Yeah the only thing I'm worried about is the frame not being able to handle rear disk usage. Might just have to ask Steve about it. TomN do have any pics ? is the disk mount similar to the 24UK cos a M6 is pretty overkill and if the disk mount can handle that then surely it will handle something like a bb7 or mono trial.
