  1. I live just outside Woodstock so not far, ride in Oxford most weekends while I don't have a car.. There are a few regular Oxford riders, I think there is a couple of us riding on Sunday so feel free to join if so
  2. I have never ridden Mansfield before so I shall probably come, been too long Mikey as well - need to catch up my son. I will see if I can come up with Leigh or something as I'm not driving at the moment (no car)
  3. Awesome Steve, best video I have seen in ages! Hope your well Dude, heard the comp today with Mike wasn't too successful in getting there
  4. Won't be able to make this, the bikes in pieces and needs a lot to get back together. Next time Guys!
  5. I will be there, about time I came out of hibernation
  6. Some great words posted above from Mike.... I think trials is mostly a mindset, especially when riding to your limits. Having control of that mindset and being aware of it is a different ball game though. You can kind of be out riding and not riding particularly well say for a morning, your energy feels drained and then in the afternoon have the best days riding where something in your sub consciousness just flips the switch, having the ability to always have that switch on is a very hard thing to do, so again being aware of this is a valuable asset to riding to your best consistently I believe.
  7. Love you Will haha Should have my 24" rig running in the next few weeks so look forward to this. What dates do people have in mind for this? Obviously I have seen that the 24th and 27th is on the cards. I think Christmas eve will be a nightmare in terms of driving in, parking and generally packed with people doing there last minute shopping or if they are anything like me doing there Christmas shopping full stop. However this could make it funny if we are all riding around in fancy dress! I just hope people don't bottle it, there hasn't been a good fancy dress Brum ride for many years - The one where Phil Williams came as a bear, Tarty as Avid Merrion, Austin as a women, Mike as a greek type person etc
  8. Well the way I see it, is that it's a good compromise without fully committing to a discipline of riding style. Although 'trialsy' geometry it will still have the characteristics of a 24" - ultimately being a 24", making street riding (presumably you mean spins, manuals, g-turns etc) available to the rider as it is on any stock trials bike. I have had an inspired and it just made the trials moves so difficult/an absolute struggle and the street stuff I could do on the inspired I could do on pretty much all the stock trials bikes I had. It's funny how a 24" with a long wheelbase and a high bb is automatically classed as a 'TGS 24' when TGS is a type/style of riding - as said, I see it as a good compromise which means more fun! Although I could be completely wrong but I won't really find out until I have one.
  9. So so good, some real jaw dropping stuff in that. I didn't even realise that it was even possible to ride a moto trials bike in such a similar way to bike trials, you see the odd things in videos like backwheel maneovres etc but just generally the way he can tackle sections in the same way that you would on a trials bike is just amazing. Respect!
  10. Nice one guys, great to see trials getting some decent exposure (which seems to be happening a lot right now) and also giving a demonstration/Danny's bike being sold to a great cause.
  11. Funnily enough I have had one under construction by Marino for the last month or so. More so as an experimentation more then anything, I don't know whether there would be any 'advantages' as such, however it should be plenty of fun to ride which is the main thing...
  12. Yay come as a sheep pleeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeeease. If not I will
  13. Hahaha at the end, gooood times. Awesome riding bro even if I was there for pretty much all them clips. Max I miss you come out to play soon Edit: Was that in my car at the end on the way back from Porthcawl?!
  14. Why such negativity? I think it's great. Not everyone has the commitment to get up and go spontaneously to places, let alone for a good cause. Reference the skydiving comment I knew someone who did one for charity, she was absolutely terrified and would never have done it for any other reason. I believe she raised over £400.00 to a charity which was a great achievement. So what she got a skydive? So what Mikes getting a trip? at the end of the day it's for a good cause. Would you rather people come knocking on the door asking for money or calling one of them phone lines to donate a couple of quid? Or would you prefer people to be doing stuff like this, London Marathons, Triathlons, skydiving etc etc to show how fun it can be to donate and give something back to people in need? thus more of us everyday folk getting involved!
  15. When logged into the site there is a download link on the bottom right of the screen for videos
  16. I believe Contact is the one you are after, that has the Stratford section and the speed trials from the Bike Show. There isn't much of Eddie at all unfortunately but anyway: Contact
  17. What a legend! 2 words - 'smooth' and 'style', even to this day...
  18. Nice pics Tom, suppose with Rich in Australia your low on company to ride with! Should come down this end or Birmingham for a ride some time....
  19. Yes, paint job is part of the frame price Pretty interesting geometry to be honest, I would be quite curious to how they ride. I have a 24" from Marino on the way however very 'trialsy' geo which I am looking forward to playing with. Your bike looks sweet Dude, nice work!
  20. My thoughts exactly..... It just seems that you are trying to post up topics to force yourself to get validation as a member. Just post what you want to discuss, be helpful in anyway you can to other peoples posts/topics and you won't have to make an effort to get validated - it will just happen
