It doesn't affect the pad material, it just kills the glue so the pads just slid out. I have done this to about 5 different pairs of pads all different material ones and i have never noticed the material to go 'off' Tom.

Put them in the oven for about 5-7mins at 150 degrees and then they should pull out really easily but be careful they will be very hot!, i have done this many a time so it does definitely work. Tom.

My Avid BB7 203 rotor is immensely good!! lots of modulation when needed but also loads of lock when needed. Tom.

The Try-All shoes are good, but they don't last that long at all! If i was you, i would pay the extra money and buy some Ribo's. I have had both sets and the Ribo's are by far the best. Tom.

I use 16:13 it's alittle easyer than normal but is soooo nice for gaps, sidehops etc. apart from peedle hoping. Tom.
