cause magura own the copy right or what ever on the design, and there isnt much point in other companies spending loads of money on different systems which prob wont work aswell and not sell to many? my guess.

v8's have them push in pins well 4 on each side 8 A PEDAL FOOLS!!!!!!, not the screw in ones all round like the v12s..... thats the other difference, and weight. if v8's were butter, then v12's would be flora. DOWN WITH COLSTEROL!!!!!!!

i have used about 5-6 pairs of v8's as well, aweful things... pins fall out, in no time and you dont even have to hit them. bearings are rubbish. they start wobbling after 3 weeks or so (i know you can service them but thats hastle) and they are just rubbish, RUBBISH. i brought a set of v12's bout 3 weeks ago, i have tried most other sets of pedals around, and i can safely say v12's have been the best. dont waste your money on v8's in my opinion.... save £15 or what ever and get v12's. be cheaper in the long run.

wank pedals, spend a little more and buy the v12's.

they did a few with rear disc mounts when they first started making them... ones that have rear discs have been about for a while.
