why i still have feelings like this for this girl i dont know, pretty obvious we will never get together what with living 4 hours or what ever the hell it is away from each other and me being a now fake ginger. must be like 2 years ago now we became real good mates, and spoke near enough everyday and it hasnt really changed. thought i had lost the feelings i felt for her, then i met up with her again the other day and even though it wasnt a propper meet up you normally have, what with it being the last round of the national not a bar/cinema... everything just came back to me, why i like her so much. shes the only lady that has ever made me feel this way, im not a soft hearted person who attatches himself to any girl, infact im probably the harshest noob you will come across when it comes to relationships, i think my ex will back that up aha. lots of girls i have liked have come and gone and i just get over them... but you know, summat is making me like her STILL even though i know there is no point. the other thing is, all the girls i know/met back in swindon... (cause there is no meeting girls here in devon, its just old people and rocks/grass and im not into that laaa) none of them compared to this lady. real wierd this, aha. dunno why im telling you gays this, probably cause im trying to pass the time between now and going to bed, its that boring down here in devon i miss swindon, cause there, i was close enough to her.

right well i havent read everyones replies or martyns column.... but i speak with martyn a fair bit and what with riding for him he tells me what he thinks. bikes are getting long now, and for a lot of things in trials this is a good. but the style is to say the least gash.... martyn really doesnt like tracky bottoms or trials shoes and who can blame him? i admit, i started wearing them at comps., they are real comfy to ride in. BUT to be fair they do look pretty gay, im not really into that style but i got into it because i feel i can ride better... i dunno if i even can :| and judging by sundays performance at the national i dont. if you want to get people into it, its needs a style they want to be associated with... more people = more money = people who are rad on a bike get what they deserve. dont keep trials small... give the people who can a future with it. i spoke with martyn the other day... and we have started product development on the new ashton frames... riding different frames to come to a conclusion on the geo of the new bike. i was thinking something longer than the current frame... but then i feel i will miss the wall rides and bunny hops, manuals and linking moves which give style and maybe more interest? trials isnt bmx, that has to be remembered, but it has to have a respectable style. i dont agree with who ever said keep trials small.

everyone seemed to have a real bad first lap and then a couple woke up for second.... i didnt, all day. im same as scott, been pretty into it last few weeks, was thinking i had it in me to do better... but i was just gash... sigh. oh well. sections were real good though. thanks to those who made it happen:)

asking what i think i will be doing tomorrow is hard enough.... never mind 10 years. hopefully traveling

specialized 2 2 3 4 i got the 03 (i think it was) version of this, really liked that, frames are really mint on them... componants wont need modding anytime soon on it either. 5 im not really into scott... but here is one you might be interested in...scott there are a couple of kliens aswell which might be worth looking at, you would have to go for the older 05/06 models though which might be hanging around in bikeshops still, reduced obviously... but i think they will still be a bit more than you are looking at. couple of bikes to look at anyways...

woops, didnt really read your first post. sorry... so my post is pretty useless... i think its all changed since i was into it 4 years ago... was like nailtrails/basic stumpjumpers/orange evo for the £700 range... i will have a look around for you... god i got to sort out a xc bike.

i have tried a few from the bike shop in swindon... if your lucky you might be able to find the 06 trek 8500... they retail at about £2000 i think but cause its the older model now you can find them for £1500... thats full xtr and a forking nice frame, fox forks. they have one in totalbike (swindon) which you can get for £1300 cause its ex demo, still pretty mint though. for full sus i would deffo look at the specialized xc pro... thats full sus with a fox shock with the 3 different settings, locked, pro pedal and soft. i hammered that for a week and fell in love... cant afford to buy it though:( which is a GAY. specialized are all you want to look at though for full sus IMO! thier warranty is awesome and the xc frames can take shit loads.

maybe not a hand full, but not many were made and they arent being made now and wont be any time soon.

good luck getting a ashton mod, only a handful were made and there wont be any more made for a long time, if ever. most of them were brought by kids in portcawl although there are a few floating about...second hand is about your only option if you really want one... 99% sure airevalley dont have any.
