I had to ride my old Monty on Sunday with a rear maggie, after riding with dualdisk for a while now it felt horrible! My new Monty arrived yesterday with some nice new Hope bits on can't wait to try them out. My new brake Sams brake
On my 3rd ddisk Monty arrived today with the new styley waggly rotors & nice new lever's. I rode my old Monty on Sunday at Tykes with a rear maggie on & it felt horrible. I had a fresh grind with new pads & after every couple of sections i had to adjust the tpa on lever. A rear disk setup right can be left alone & work better than any rim brake! I have used Marta's & Hope's, Hope's are the dogz Cheer's Sam.
Just to say what a cracking trial it was yesterday, good long sections with some nice lines to ride & big rocks thrown in too. Was good to see so many new faces & hear so much talk of new bikes for xmas etc. With nearly 100 riders competing the club must be doing something right Well Done Barbara & co for a excellent year!!!! Cheer's Ian PS roll on next year.
Never mind mate, hope you feel better soon Looking forward to trial but got to ride me old bike with rear maggie on a crap rim. Hope it's dry else i will have no brakes See you lot tomoz Sam
IMO i would go for the Eagle claws, sticky softer compound but wear really well with like motorbike trials tread so excellent in the mud! Have a looky here: Cleanbikes Cheaper too!
Quote jake: My chain never need's tightened because my snail cams are great tongue.gif Do you use a motorbike chain Or is this a slight exaggeration Because i think the chain is the most tinkering i do.
Get those entries in fast, this venue is MEGA Can't wait, would be even better if i had a bike to ride Oh well will have to dig me 219(x alp) out Cheer's Sam.
Why when putting the national results in they only put the old geezers in . They have missed 4 classes out perhaps the young ones arn't important Thought i might have got me name in :$
