  8. Well well well, I ordered some Heatsink Coust CNC brake pads last Monday 23rd July, and was hoping for them to arrive within a few days time but didn't get them until today, not Steve's fault silly Royal Mail strikes which was main delay(now there back to there normal shit service). I did forgot that I sent them by accident to my Grans address (human error), so as soon as I woke up before 10am, I phone my Gran to ask if they have come for this past week, today was the day, YES. But i couldn't get them until gone 5.30pm this eve because of damn work. After work I drove straight down to Grans to get them. I opened the little Jiffy bag to find the superbly made backings and the turquoise braking compound. They looked LUSH, and I did like the MADE IN UK stickers (nice touch Steve). As soon as I got home I whipped my brake off and took the newish Monty 219XH pads out and clicked the bad boys in place, and set them up. First riding impressions well not actually riding, literally just after setting them up they felt so solid and responsive through the lever, I thought damn these are the SH!T. I then spun the wheel and they gripped like there was no tomorrow, DAMN DAWG. First proper riding impressions, just back wheeling on the flat outside, they were so sticky and so solid I was very impressed, secondly the noise I love it, squeak squeak squeak, was great, my first really loud brake pads sounding real manly. After a fairly solid ride yesterday I wasn't up for much riding I was a little tired, but I had to test them some how no matter what. So I was only doing a few things starting with those little pinch taps up five pallets and not really getting enough height (due to tiredness), the pads were not slipping one bit, where as all my other pads in the past I've used have. I then set up a fairly big gap that was pretty capable for me. I started trying to land right on the edge to really test the slippage on them, they just would not budge. Overall I think these pads are the BEST I have ever used, don't fault them one bit, but this review is only after about 1 to 2hrs riding and I would say I tried to make them slip as much as possible, even tried getting my dad to pull the wheel as hard as possible whilst I held the brake lever, but he couldn't. I don't know what they are going to be like in the wet and mud at a comp, cant wait to test, I also run a fairly harsh but old grind and it runs great. Great thanks to Steve at Heatsinks. 5 STAR RATING ***** Regards Tom M P.S. Now everyone go get them.
