chainreaction wheels start here a basic wheel package is only 85 bucks. yeah the hubs may not be the best and the freewheels a bit slower than a hope to engage, but they're will be stronger than what you've had before and probs etter anyways. i'd go mavic 721 rim on the front and a sun rhyno lite xl on the rear. chainreaction's builds are pretty good iv'e had a set of atomlabs on my dirt jump bike and in 18 months theyve only needed truing once (Y) hope this helps :)

trust me rewelding any grade apart from 7005 series alu, requires the frame being heat treated. the heat put into the metal from welding, distorts the grain structure of the metal causing a weak spot thats likely just to break again. heat treating re-alines the grain eliminating any weak spot. sorry to get tech!! welding an aluminium frame will make weaker than in the first place, thats why alu frames are heat treated after welding. so go ahead and weld it but it snap soon. if you can get it heat treated great but i would think it was better to put the cost of all of that into a new frame!!

gorgeous bike mate, be nice to see how long the disc mount on the frame holds up!!!?? hope its not like a norml trials bike disc mount and doesnt rip off. looks kinda sexy, shame they dont import over here. :)
