  1. woh! thats original, not another koxx rip off. afraid i cant really tell you what you need to know but its a good find, new to me
  2. im stuck going any bigger than 25", i tend to find i plant the front wheel down first and lift and pivot the rear wheel on top. does seem to limit the height i can get because im keeping my weight forward to get the rear up up, but because of this i cant ge the front high enough to get up the bigger hops. 30" hops just look so much bigger than a 25" one, strange! craig
  3. right im trying to see what the biggest rim i could feasably fit in a 04 saracen mad team frame with new pads as i want to buy a new wheelset and what booster would you recomend to run on the same bike as its only got v brake mounts and the frame flexes like hell! cheers for your help craig
  4. well that doesnt look very good at all really does it! f@*k me, looks so well put together the collective was good but looks like they've stepped it up a gear. just got to wait a couple of months till its out. makes me wish i never sold my kona now
  5. awesome, smooth as you like, couple painful slams though. got to appreciate any type of riding that pushes limits. fair shouts
  6. as already mentioned music liscensing could be a problem, in my opinion the backing music sets the mood and atmosphere for a vid and if you cant legally get the right music the dvd just wont be as it potentially could be. just my two penny
  7. the whole throwing the bike upwards bit is the part i find the hardest, i have a tendancy to be able to lift the rear wheel upwards but push the front forwards so i never land on the rear and keep the front up. i set up the way everyone has said by keeping the line feet make paralell to the wall and crouching down and throwing up but the only way i can get the rear wheel up is to throw the bike up and forwards. i just dont seem to be able to keep the front wheel up and get the rear high enough, im trying on a 18" high wall if thats make any difference.
  8. like already said it does look good but the rider isnt defined enough from the background. good job
  9. it would have to be a bloody good vid seeing as ive got about 2 hours worth of cls vids on my hard drive which cost me nothing. would have to see what itd like before i'd say yes
  10. yeah it does blow the saxo away, tis great, 1380 rebore with a stage 3 head, set of standard cooper alloys with w+p arches. looks like a normal cooper. i love it. mini's rule, ive had it for 2 years and i cant see me changing it for a while yet. once youve had one there in your blood and it wont be your last. just get a really tidy clean mini, style i subtly and mod the engine how you wish, if you do you'll love the look on a boyracers face in you rear view mirror!!
  11. well i dont think ive had too many problems beating grown up cars in my mini, its a 92 cooper s modded to produce 105bhp in a car which weighs 650kgs, quite happliy beats the boy racers in there 106's and saxo's. i put a full length electric sunroof in it, take the wheels off the bike tilt the seat forwards and open the roof, drop the bike in. job done. oh and i built a flat bed trailer out of the rear of a mini, sprayed and stickered the same as my car, made some mounting stands and it will carry two bikes fully built standing up. french cars are ok, bit soft, but you cant compare until youve driven a decent mini and before any one asks ive had a saxo vtr and this cooper and the mini rules by a mile! craig
  12. the riding was good and i liked the panning idea, was different. but likes been said it was a bit repetitive though. shame about the soundtrack

being right footed and having you left foot as your front foot seems a bit weird to me, dont know if that would make a difference? a lot of people get to a point where they reach a 'wall' (excuse the pun) and cant get any higher or further, but just keeps practising and one day it will just click and you'll find it all easy and you'll start progressing again. regards to going away from your front foot, the idea is that its easier to remove your back foot and put it on the wall if your coming up short (i think) but i dont think that its gospel at all, i can hop just as high both ways but when i go to the right, my front foot, i find i cant go from the rear wheel. just keep practising, try both ways cause its always helpful but just go to which side feels most comfortable. cheers
  19. waynio's hook is sick, just trying to figure out in my head how he manages to get up from there?! love the gurns some people are pulling on the gaps great photos

  23. CNC'ing is a more expensive manufacturing process than producing a product with welded tubular components. its relatively slower and more costly due to the amount of material waste that is produced. the reason you find cnc'ing on a lot of bike components and frames is due to like you said before the flexability with how you can modify the material when compared to a simple tube. at places like the bb yoke it is a viable alternative to welded tubing, due to the extra strength that is gained i.e. you can have what material you need where you need it and no where else. apart from the extra strength gained and weight lost due to using cnc parts manufacturers use it because us consumers think it looks god damn good! its practical and beneficial to us; stronger product less breakages and warranty replacements for them and aestethically (sp?) it differentiates "some" bikes from others.
  24. nice vid huge gaps and sidehops. good to see another company out there and somebody whos not producing another deng looki-like.be nice to see how they hold up under mr cls
